Chapter 9: My Hero?

Kasumi's POV:

What's happening?

I glance up at Todoroki and see him looking over the crowd. I look back down trying to calm down. I was NOT use to this at all. When I started to calm down, I looked around the crowd. Todoroki was doing the same, he still was holding onto my waist. I was getting use to this.... WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH ME?!

We continued to walk, trying not to fall. Todoroki had a pretty good grip on me so I didn't fall. Suddenly I see a shadow floating over us. I looked up and I see...Iida?

"Todoroki! Look!" I said pointing up at Iida. He looked up at Iida, then he went flying towards the door. We stopped and called out for Iida. He slammed against the wall right above the door.

"EVERYONE PLEASE CALM DOWN!"

He managed to get everyone's attention and they looked up at him.

"IT'S JUST A GROUP OF NEWS REPORTERS THE WANT AN INTERVIEW WITH ALL MIGHT! THERE'S NOTHING TO HE AFRAID OF!"

Everyone started to calm down and went their own ways. I sigh and thank Iida under my breath.

"Kasumi, are you okay?" Todoroki asked. I looked up at him and nodded.

"You are saving me all the time. When our classmates crowded me, same as the news reporters, and this big crowd. You managed to catch me before I fell and stayed by my side. Thank you for all of that..." I said looking back down.

"You're like my hero."

I felt Todoroki's grip tighten at my waist. I looked back up at Todoroki and he had wide eyes and a little red on him cheeks. As I realize what I just said, my face began to heat up.

"W-wait! I didn't mean to get to deep there! I-I'm sorry!" I said avoiding eye contact with him. All I heard was a chuckle. I look back at Todoroki who was covering his mouth, laughing a little. I was....really surprised. I didn't know what to say. I could only think...

'His laugh is cute....'

I could feel my face heat up more by what I just thought.

"W-what are you laughing at?!"

He stopped laughing and looked down at me. I leaned back a little. 'Is he mad?' He narrowed his eyes at at me.

"So you are a tsundare too?"

"What?! Of course not," I replied crossing my arms. He raised an eyebrow at me. It was quiet for a moment like he wanted me admit it. "Let's just get to class..."

He nodded and let go of my waist. For some reason when he did that, it felt like I was missing something. It felt odd when the air reached my waist. I ignore it and started to follow Todoroki back to class.

Todoroki's POV:

She said I was like her hero... It was nice when she said that. And good to know, she's a tsundare too. To be honest, it was cute how she reacted....

*mentally slaps self*

Damn it, Shoto. Don't think that. It's rude. What is going on with me? I been acting so different. I even laughed...I haven't laughed like that in a while. Well that's something new. I do want to keep helping her. I don't know why but...

I want to be her hero.
