Chapter 12

Kasumi's POV:

I started to run towards the Ruins Zone. Once I arrived that's when I noticed, 'Shit, I don't know where they are...'

But then, I huge explosion happened by the building to the side of me. Perfect timing, right? I start to run into the building cause it was on the top floor. I bust open the door then just see smoke.

'Bakugou...'

Suddenly I see a hand coming towards my face. My eyes widen as I dodged it and grabbed the person's wrist. The next thing I knew ...

I was pinned against the wall again...by the same person.

Bakugou had the same grumpy face that he always has on. My eyes were slightly widened my his suddened action. We were close enough to see each other's faces. Once he saw my face, his expression became confused.

"Kasumi?" he asked.

"Who else would it be?" I replied raising an eyebrow. He just 'tch'ed away and stepped back to give me room. That's when the smoke cleared up. I see a whole bunch of villains who look like they got knocked out and then a happy voice called out.

"Hey! Kasumi! What are you doing here?" I turn my head to see Kirishima running towards us.

"I came here to check on everyone. If you know some students got separated from the rest. Is it only you two here?" I asked looking at both Kirishima and Bakugou. Kirishima nodded the put his hands to his waist.

"Is everyone else okay?" Kirishima asked.

"I'm not sure yet. This is the first place I checked. I'm going to find the others," I said fixing my scarf a little. Kirishima sighed in relief as Bakugou stayed quiet. I put my hands into my pants pocket then look back at them. "It seems like you guys can handle yourself, right?"

"Of course we can, idiot!" Bakugou slightly yelled. I laughed to myself a little then Kirishima flexes with one of his arms.

"Of course we can! We are the manliest men after all," he said with his classic shark smile. I nod and gave them a small smile.

"Yes, of course. I have to go and check the others. After you guys are done dealing with the villains here, come towards the exit," I say turning around and walking out.

"Hey, idiot!"

I stopped and turned around. I see Bakugou with his angry but somewhat...looks softer. It was quiet for a few seconds then he finally says something.

"Be careful out there."

I was really surprised but kept my face regular. I turn back around and continues to walk. He actually cares...

"Yeah...you too."

Bakugou's POV:

"Yeah...you too."

I watched Kasumi walk away into darkness. I stayed there for awhile till a certain idiot ruined it.
