Chapter 20

Kasumi's POV:

Todoroki and Midoriya's fight has been going on for a while. I've been keeping close attention to the both of them. First, Midoriya keeps on injuring himself... Each one of his fingers are breaking everytime he uses his quirk. If he continues this, it's over for him. And Todoroki. His quirk is Half Hot Half Cold, but I only see cold. It's obvious that he has a fire side but he's not using it. Strange. I also noticed that Midoriya has been telling or yelling at him to use it. The fight goes on and Midoriya breaks more of his fingers while Todoroki makes just ice. I listen closely. Each and every statement I highlight in my head. It means something important. Then I hear it...

"IT'S YOURS! YOUR QUIRK, NOT HIS!"

Heat...

All I feel is heat.

Covering my face to avoid burns, I look towards Todoroki and I see it.

Fire...

"SHOTOOOOOO!"

Everyone attention turns towards Endeavor, Todoroki's father. He starts yelling about Todoroki finally using his left side.

'You mean....he never used his left side in battle?'

I look back towards the battle grounds and see Todoroki with a smile on his face. Same as Midoriya. Midoriya wanted him to use his left side and he made him. That's amazing. I couldn't help but put a small smile on my face. Midoriya bends down. It looks like he's going to go towards Todoroki. Right when Midoriya jumps towards Todoroki, he sends ice and fire right towards him. Then the though hit me.

This is bad.

Really bad.

Then, everything blanked out. Well not really. An explosion happened and smoke was everywhere. As it begins to clear, I see a figure. I look closer and it's Midoriya, but...

Out of the ring.

Inside the ring, Todoroki is there with half his shirt burnt off. And Midoriya collapses. Cement blocks were scattered around. I guess Cementoss tried to stop it but it didn't work out. It made it safer though so it's okay. Although Cementoss interrupts, their attacks collide and destroy the stadium. This fight is definitely a memorable one.

Midnight announces that Izuku is out of bounds and that Shoto Todoroki is the victor.

~Time Skip~

I make my way towards the stadium.
On the other side is Iida.

Iida... He's strong but really fast. I don't have an idea yet on how I could beat him..yet.

"I'll do my best, Kasumi!" Iida yells at me and I nod.

"And I'll do the same."
