Two boys
Both by the same name
Polar opposites
For this sake we'll call them Chase
Two boys intrigued one girl
A girl split in half
Between good and bad
So she decided to write a letter
To sort out her brain
Because both were tempting
To keep on her brainChase was a good boy
And very, very sweet
A true friend to anyone he would meet
His eyes were dark blue,
Something she loved
Because as we all know
"Dark blue eyes
Hold the moon and the night sky"
He was a night owl,
Well,
He was a child of the night
Something they have in common
It was because they understood the misunderstood
They loved being children
And dancing in the rain
They both had their demons
But they would work hand in hand
To fight off every single one
With him she no longer felt like a villain
But a hero
He never saw her as less
It always warmed her heart
And stitched the broken pieces back together
He believed in everyone
Even her when she was out
And down
He knew exactly how to make her smileChase was a bad boy
And good at it too
He was laid back,
Flirtatious,
And knew how to steal hearts
His eyes were light blue
The kind that hold fire
A fire you could reach out and touch
But you knew you'd die
Yet she fell for him
And her heart wouldn't stop beating
He was mature
And didn't have time to join her games
When she was with him
She felt like a different person
She was alright being a villain
He had some issues
But she was drawn to them
Things good boys don't do
It was strange and unusual
And yet so intriguing
They both had the same passion
And tell the same jokes
They caught themselves laughing
Almost until they ached
His voice was dark and deep
Something soothing to listen to
They were villains
Ready to conquer the world
Power would be their desireAs she closed the letters
She sat and pondered
Which boy made her better
Good boy
Bad boy
At the end they were the same
Two boys with a little interest
To try and play a game
