Hanna's POV
I immediately let go of Nate's hand and started walking ahead. That was awko taco. I sighed and pulled up my shorts. Wait, where's my mustache ring?! My eyes started searching for my ring, but I noticed something shimmering hanging on one of the crevices on the edge of one of the pools. Shit, my ring. I walked close to the edge, and bent down to pick it up. Come one, Hanna... Little closer... But soon, I felt my body tip down. I screamed as I hit the water.
Since there where no waves, I struggled to swim. A tip my mom taught me was to dive then bounce off the ground. Sadly, the ground was too far below. I was getting pulled by the arms of Poseidon.
"Hanna!" Was the last thing I heard.
I was soon met by darkness.
Later on...
I woke up, still underwater. My lungs felt weak. I was in the center of the ocean lying down. Cracks started forming in the sand.
"Hanna, please wake up... Please." A voice pleaded.
I'm trying. The cracks started getting bigger. My eyes widen. My hands were getting bony. My vision was slowly getting blurry.
"No! No! No! Hanna wake up, please!" The voice yelled.
My eyes were fighting to close. I then felt something hold my hand, droplets of water falling on it. My body shook from the cold water. My eyes were droopy. My eyes finally closed.
"Sorry, sir but you have to leave..." Another voice said to someone.
"No! She has to wake up! I want to watch her wake up! I want to... Ugh, never mind. But, I am not leaving this room until my best friend wakes up." The voice said in a commanding tone.
"Sorry, sir but-" I soon heard a fist collide into something.
I slowly smiled. My vision was getting better by the minute. I was soon getting stronger. My lungs felt better. My eyes opened to see Nate kneeled down staring at me. I noticed his face was red, his eyes filled with tears.
"You're awake." He said finally smiling.
