(Chapter 4) My Retarded Parents

Hanna's POV

I yawned and opened my eyes. I searched for my clock and it said

6:00am.

I went inside my walk in closet and decided what to wear for school. I chose an elegant, but casual Closet Jade V-neck dress. A BSK Denim Plush Jacket, white converse, Michael Kors Blair watch, and white sunglasses. I wore blue nail polish to match the dress, and put on a white bangle bracelet.

Now it's time for the worst part of getting ready. My hair. Why can't my hair be a good girl and be nice and smooth? When I was done hurting myself, I didn't know how to wear my hair this time. I felt lazy, so I put my hair in a messy bun.

I wonder what was dad talking about with Nate's dad? Probably something stupid like world peace. I sighed and walked to the kitchen. I heard Danny and Brianna arguing. Now's my chance to have a full plate of food! I quietly stole a huge stack of chocolate chip pancakes, a ton of bacon, and some ice cream to top off my pancake stack. What? I'm hungry.

"Danny! You can't just-"

"Sorry I didn't-" Brianna was cut off by Danny.

"You're retarded enough to-" Brianna cut off Danny too. Man, this is too much for me. I put too much chocolate syrup on my pancakes! Now it only taste like a sea of chocolate! Oh, and their fighting is ruining my appetite. 3, 2, 1...

"What is this fighting about?!?" Mom yelled.

"Danny was retarded enough to tell Ryan Peterson, that I have a crush on him!" Brianna answered yelling.

"What? I wasn't trying to make her angry." Danny answered innocently batting his eyelashes.

"Danny your grounded for a week." Mom scolded.

Danny rolled his eyes as mom realized he's too old to be grounded.

"Wait, never mind that! You're not allowed to go to Hawaii with your friends." Mom re-scolded.

Danny was about to beg, but realized the punishment would get worse if he does. He sighed and went to his room. I laughed and continued to remove some syrup off my pancakes.

When I was done eating, I went back upstairs to brush my teeth and grab my bag.

At School

I grabbed my books for 1st period and went to my desk. Students were blabbing about some new student. New student? I wonder who he or she is.

"Good morning class." Mr. Herndon greeted.

"As we know, we will have a new student coming."

I started doodling on my notebook, until I heard footsteps come into the classroom. Probably some new nerd the jocks can pick on.

"Ooh, he's hot." I heard Sandra whisper to Tiffany.

"Maybe Australian." Tiffany whispered back. Wait Australian? Cool, he's like Nate.

I heard a bunch of compliments to the new dude.

"Please say your name to the class." Mr. Herndon told newbie.

"Hello fellows, I'm Nathaniel Buzolic. I go by Nate." He told the class. Oh, isn't that funny? He has the same accent as Nate! And his name is Nate too. Wait what? I stopped doodling flowers and looked to the front of the classroom. It's really him! OH MY GOD! My retard of a father told his father, to move him to my school?!?!! My parents are retards.

"I would totally sleep with him." Tiffany whispered to Sandra as she smirked.

I kicked both Sandra and Tiffany in the shin, as they yelped in pain. Thank goodness they're behind me!

"You may sit next to Ms. Edwards." Mr. Herndon told him. Yes! Score one for Hanna! I felt All girls frowned and became jelly. Our desks are all in twos, but Sophie moved away, so I'm the luckiest person in class.

I caught Stacey try to seduce Nate with her eyes, but he just rolled his eyes and ignored her. Another point for me! Voldemort even caught her trying to make signs to come over her house and um... Yeah. Voldemort gripped her hip and glared at Nate. BONUS POINT!

"Class, you may have a 45 minute free time as I go somewhere." Mr. Herndon told us. All of us had smiles and went to business.

During Free Time...

Everyone just did their normal routine of free time. Brad and Stacey went to the closet and did some well, stuff. Some girls tried to flirt with Nate, you know, all that hair flipping and eyelash batting. But he just rolled his eyes and gave them the talk to the hand. Seriously, I just won like a gazillion points! Those girls know nothing about flirting. They have to be either friends with the boy first, or they let the boy come to them. That's what I do... I'm like a love genius! I should write a book. What should it be called? Oh, I know! Dr. Love! Damn, I'm good!

"Hey Hanna." said Nate.

"Oh hey, Nate! Good to see you at my school." I replied nicely.

"I don't really know my way through this school." He told me with a fake frown.

"Oh! Maybe I can show you around the school. I've been here for 3 years, I can be a tour guide!" I replied with a chuckle.

"Oh, that would be great! Thanks, Hanna. You've been a good friend." He told me back as I smiled.

Friend? I just got a freakin INFINITY POINTS! Most of the girls frowned and glared at me. Some even whispered rumors why I knew him. Stacey came up from her seat and went up to me. Then crossed her orange arms, as Nate stared in confusion.

"Yeah, uh... Hanna how exactly do you know Nate?" Stacey asked with a hint of jealousy.

Oh no! I can't say I hitch hiked with him. She'll probably make fun of me! What should I say?!?!

"I um..."

Nate's POV

"I um..." Hanna said unsure of what she's going to say.

I guess she was embarrassed about hitch hiking. I would have been embarrassed too. I should help her.

"Hanna's, brother's, friend is my cousin. We met each other 8 years ago for a Christmas party." I told Stacey while reading a book. What? I wanted to look smart. Stacey frowned and went back to her seat slouching. Hanna smiled, as I winked back.

Hanna's POV

Nate totally saved me from Stacey. He probably knew I was embarrassed.

Ring!

Oh! The bell rang. I asked Mr. Herndon if I could show Nate around. He nodded and went back to checking papers.

"Hey, Nate!" I called out to him.

He looked back at me.

"I believe you're on time for the tour." I said with a British accent.

He chuckled and walked next to me. This felt so... Nice. Different from other boys. Like real feelings. Wait what?
