49 days to save Oikawa

Kuroo sighed, lifting his head to acknowledge the soft fluttering of wings in the balcony.

"Is that you, Kōshi?"

A familiar brown-haired angel gently pushed the curtains to the entrance of the room aside, offering the shocked Kuroo a smile.

"Hey, Tetsurō."

The black-haired angel stood up immediately in surprise, his eyes widening.

"Torū? What are you doing here? You haven't visited for almost two weeks!"

"I missed the Cloud 9 Vicinity." Oikawa replied truthfully, biting back a groan as another stab of pain pierced his spine.

"Wonderful. Just the right timing."

"Sit down first," Kuroo coaxed, helping the weakly stumbling angel to one of the chairs, where he plopped down in exhaustion. "Your pains have started already, right?"

Oikawa raised an eyebrow, "How did you know?"

"Oh come on, Torū," Kuroo snapped, half out of amusement, "You look like you're about to faint."

"You're right. It was more painful and tiring to fly up here than I originally thought it would be."

"You're an idiot of an angel," Kuroo sighed, getting up to go fetch some tea for the feeble brown-haired angel. "So how have things been?"

"I should be asking you that." Oikawa responded warily, cocking his head.

"Whatever do you mean?" Kuroo replied, lifting the kettle off the stove and cradling the bottom with a dry cloth.

"Akaashi's death."

Kuroo paused, abruptly pausing to hold the kettle, before pouring the tea into a small cup. He laid the cup on the glass table and sat down, before inhaling deeply.

"We're all gloomy," The black-haired angel said lowly, averting his gaze from Oikawa's, "He didn't tell us that he was going to fall. He also failed to tell us that he made a deal with..."

"With who?" Oikawa prompted further, and Kuroo shook his head.

"Never mind. Nothing that concerns you."

The black-haired angel took a brief sip from his own cup, before leaning back in his own chair.

"I wish he could've at least warned us," Kuroo whispered, shaking his head, "We didn't even get the chance to say goodbye."

Oikawa bit his lip, "Me too. I'm sorry...I'm not able to be with you all at this moment."

"Don't apologize," Kuroo smiled, returning to his normal self, "You should concern yourself more with the fact on how you're going to save yourself."

"I visited Kageyama." Oikawa blurted out, and Kuroo raised an eyebrow.

"Kageyama? You don't even like him."

"I still don't," Oikawa grumbled, crossing his arms, "But I wanted to ask him how he turned human."

"And?"

"He didn't have a clear answer for me."

Kuroo nodded slowly.

"What else do you want to tell me?"

Oikawa's head shot up, "How did you know I had more to talk about...?"

"Come on, Oikawa. I've been living with you since you became an angel."
