I slowly open my eyes and quickly squinted them when the sun hit my eyes. I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom. Looking into the mirror, I noticed the bruise down my arm. I walked out of the bathroom and headed downstairs to get coffee. There was a note on the kitchen island and it read "Larry"
"Why the hell is he writing notes.. just send me a damn text for Christ sakes.. this isn't 1985" I rolled my eyes and opened the note
It read: Hey my darling, I hope you had a good night sleep. I had to go out and handle some business. I'll be back later tonight. I'm really sorry about last night. I promise I'll make it up to you. I left a 500 dollar gift card on the counter for you. I love you so baby
I closed the note and grabbed the gift card from the counter and threw it in the garbage. "My ass" I said under my breath
I walked back upstairs and my phone began to vibrate on the bed. I reached over and grabbed it and it was a message from Michael.

I immediately wrote him back and said "goodmorning Mike💕" I really didn't think he would text me this morning after what happened last night. He's really sweet I had decided to go out and grab a bite to eat at my favorite place called "Judy's island grill" i showered, got dressed and put on a black sundress with my black sandals. I grabbed my purse and walked out, locking up the house and walking to my car. ***** I pulled in the restaurant and got out of my car, walking to the door. The smell of the food hit my nostrils so hard, it almost sent me heaven. It smelled that good. "Food smells so damn good" I said as the host walked me to my table I sat down and the host looked at me and smiled and said "enjoy" I looked down at my menu and noticed all the good dishes.
