Father Seeds

Just another typical day in Hope County. Joseph and his cult were moving in on the Resistance. Taking their homes and families. Even supplies like food, weapons and even clothing. They were welcoming themselves to anything that didn't belong to them.

As Joseph's men and his younger brother, John, hunted around Fall's End for supplies, Joseph had come across something that seemed unusual. He took a closer look and found a young girl, hiding behind a building, watching as families got separated and supplies were put into trucks.

She noticed Joseph looking at her but didn't hesitate in anyway. Joseph, himself, was expecting the girl to runaway but she didn't. Instead, she slowly walked out from behind the building and approached Joseph.

"Hello my child. Are you okay?" Joseph asked in a friendly manner and started to walk towards the young girl.

"I'm fine. Are you going to hurt me? I haven't done anything wrong" the young girl asked.

"Not at all. Why don't you come closer to me and we shall have a chat?"

The girl nodded at Joseph and made her way over to him. He put his hand out to her and she softly grabbed onto it.

"What's your name?" Joseph asked, trying to get more information about her.

"Ashley"

"Nice to meet you Ashley. I'm Joseph Seed".

"I know who you are. I've heard a lot of stories from these people about you and your family"

"We are only trying to save the stubborn people. We want everyone to be safe when the collapse arrives. We don't want any harm" Joseph explained. "Where's your family?"

"Don't have one. Well at least not here in Hope County"

"I see".

"What's going on over here?" John asked as he approached the two. "Who's she?".

"This is Ashley. She is no danger to us." Joseph informed his little brother. "This is John. My younger brother".

"Oh so you're the Seed that most girls have slept with"

"Excuse me?" John asked nervously.

"Those two Deputy girls were telling me about you and then one mentioned that she slept with you too" Ashley explained with a mean smirk on her face and her arms crossed.

Joseph looked at John with so much disappointment  but didn't end up saying anything. Instead he turned his attention make to Ashley and tried to ignore the things she had said. "What else has the Resistance told you my child? I'd like to know now. By the way, do you know where the Deputy is?".

"Hiding somewhere. Last I heard, she was pregnant".

"PREGNANT?" John and Joseph screamed at the same time.

"Who the hell left her pregnant?" Joseph asked, immediately looking at John.

"Don't look at me. If anyone left her pregnant, it would be Jacob" John surrendered.

"Jacob? He slept with the Deputy too? You two have been sinning behind my back. I am utterly disappointed with you both" Joseph said. "You, my child. You're coming with me and we are going to talk about everything. You, John. Call Jacob and tell him to be at my church immediately. Let's see what other sins you guys have committed behind my back".

Ashley, frightened with Joseph's anger, followed him carefully to a nearby car and jumped into it. She cursed herself from the inside, for opening her big mouth but at the end of the day, she was part of the Resistance and they were at war with Eden's Gate. She smirked to herself, happy with what she had accomplished. Having the three brothers fight against each other, was going to give enough time for Ashley to flee from Hope County. So she thought.
