Jin hunched his back over the trunk of his parent's car, breathing heavily. He balled his fist on his shirt, feeling his heart clench. He knew that Namjoon is wondering why he left
so suddenly, but he doesn't want to go back to seeing his uncle.

"That man... I can't! I can't go back." His arms were shaking while he held onto the bumper of the car. Jin had a lot on his mind.

He ended up with two options: 1. To text his parents and make up a lie that he doesn't feel good so that they'll take him home. 2. Go back to the house and stay by Namjoon's side to not disappoint the boy on his birthday.

"Namjoon... Mom, dad..." He looked around him, trying to calm his nerves down.

"I'll do it for him." With his mind already made up, Jin stepped away from the car, placed his phone inside of his pocket, and went towards Namjoon.

The fox spotted him still talking to his uncle. When Namjoon turned his head around and saw Jin, he pointed at him and waved. His uncle noticed him and Jin's smile turned into an uncomfortable grin, feeling his heart sink the moment he looked at the man again.

"Jin, why didn't you tell me you knew my uncle?" Namjoon placed his arm around Jin and for the first time, Jin removed the wolf's arm from his shoulder, unable to focus well on his surroundings.

All that Jin could see was a tall, middle aged man, eyeing him from head to toe... Or from his waist below.

"Him and I are strangers, Joonie. I don't know this man, my father does." Jin replied, trying not to sound rude in front of Namjoon.

"Oh, but there's time to get to know each other. Right? Nice to meet you." Namjoon's uncle extended his arm out once more, expecting Jin to shake it a second time. The fox politely shook it, but he was suddenly pulled into an unexpected embrace.

Jin froze in place as the grown up released him from his embrace, staring at him with darkened eyes.

"Uncle, we were going upstairs for a moment. Is it okay if we go to the guest bedroom-"

"No need, Joon." Namjoon's uncle interfered, almost immediately.

"You two can go to my bedroom." Namjoon and Jin both gave the man a confused look.

Jin felt his legs going numb, the longer he stared at the man.

"It's quieter there. No one can hear you, and you'll be able to talk in private, so go on." Namjoon wasn't getting the hints, because his uncle was a family member of his. The wolf just found his gesture kind.

However, Jin didn't. He knew exactly what the adult was implying, and he didn't like it at all.

"Namjoon, you'll stay with me in your uncle's room... Right? You won't leave me?" Jin asked, rather desperate.

"Of course I won't. Come on, let's go." Namjoon ran ahead. He's very competitive when it comes to running, no matter the situation. The minute he finished talking to Jin, he ran upstairs and left the fox behind with his uncle.

Jin ran away, seeing how the adult never kept his eyes off of him. He relaxed himself when he saw Namjoon again.

"Wow! Look at all of these games!!" He forgot about his stress when he noticed just how many video games there were inside of the bedroom.
