~A few weeks later~
Jin took no time in getting used to Jungkook's house.
He felt attached to it already, as if he had never left home.
The boy only wished he could feel the same way about Namjoon.
He had been mourning the loss of his lover for so long, Jin hasn't seen another color in his life except for a dark black cloud, hovering above his head, constantly reminding him of the great man he once had the honor of loving and having as not only a best friend, but as a sweet and caring lover as well.
No amount of accommodations, gifts, or joy can bring back a true smile on Jin's face, or fill him up with butterflies in his stomach, the way Namjoon used to.
He had to face the sad reality that he can only replace his happiness with these things, not recover it.
Today was a slightly brighter day for the fox. He had invited over a friend of his and he was hoping Jungkook and him would get along.
"So, what's this friend like?" The husky's questions wouldn't cease. He kept on asking for a full hour, trying to get information on the friend Jin had invited to his house.
"Well, he's a little bit older than you, Kookie." The older responded.
"What color is his hair?
What does he eat?
Does he bark?
Sniff?
Growl?
Is he a secret agent in disguise of an 'older boy'? Huh?" Jin face palmed himself.
"Yah! You'll find out when he comes over. Stop interrogating me with questions!"
The husky started whining.
"Fine! I'll just go rub my butt around the rug waiting for this hyung to appear. Bye!" He started to roll around on the carpet, making Jin roll his eyes.
Jungkook has somehow become Jin's medicine to heal his sadness. He's been making the fox laugh, reminding him of how Namjoon used to bring laughter into his life as well.
A knock on the door stopped Jungkook from rolling around the rug, making him go into his protective mood.
"Relax there, pup. You're about to meet my best friend." Jin opened the door and it was as if he unlocked the gates of hell.
Jungkook ran outside and jump scared his friend.
"No fighting!! Hey, JUNGKOOK!! DON'T GO OUT INTO THE STREET!" Jin shouted.
"Hyung! Save me!! This weirdo is trying to murder me!" Jin gasped out of breath when Jungkook came running back into the house, like a bullet.
He hopped on Jin's lap, breathing heavily.
"Get off of him!" His friend pried Jungkook off of Jin, hopping on his lap.
"Chanyeol, get off of my lap! You're heavy, ngh.." Jin attempted to push the boy off of him, but he was holding onto Jin for dear life, shaking in his lap.
"HOW AM I HEAVIER? I'm a cat, and he's a huge wolf!" He asked.
"B-because you're in your HUMAN form." Chanyeol transformed into his cat form, apologizing to Jin.
"I'm a Red Husky, you uncultured cat!" Jungkook replied, seconds later.
"FOR your information, I'M a rare Caracal Cat, you dirty mutt-"
The boys were left with a huge red mark on their bums when Jin gave them a slight beating for them to behave.
"Jungkook, this is Chanyeol. I call him Channie. Channie, this is Jungkook. I call him Kookie." Jin found their endless bickering hilarious.
