"Namjoon is dead." Seokjin himself couldn't believe the words coming out of his mouth.

He snatched the phone away and left the two boys behind to get some fresh air outside.

When he took a single step outside, the fresh air suddenly turned into a cloud of smoke that entered Jin's lungs, enabling him from breathing.

That cloud was invisible to the rest of the pedestrians around Jin, for only he was the one who couldn't breathe.

"Jinnie!"

"Jin!" His friends ran after him. Jin held his chest, crumbling his shirt while breaking down in the middle of Jungkook's driveway.

He couldn't speak at all. He hated to feel so broken, so vulnerable.

But he gave up on pretending to feel strong and careless.

"I'm sorry." Jungkook kept on apologizing as Jin stared down at his phone. The image of Namjoon was making Jin want to jump inside of his phone and pull the man out of his device.

If he could, he would have done it a long time ago. No one understood his pain.

Jungkook has had a partner, however they drifted apart when he left to study.

Chanyeol had a lover as well, but he lived far away from him.

And his parents had each other.

Jin's life had been lonely, up until he met Namjoon.

Now that Namjoon was gone, the fox didn't know what to do anymore.

"JUST FUCKING KILL ME! P-put a bullet through my head!!" His shouting alarmed the neighbors around Jungkook.

Jungkook started crying hearing Jin scream out in pain, falling to his knees.

His painful screech was shocking for everyone.

"I wanna die! Just..." Jin ended up speechless, his words becoming loud gasps that would leave him without air.

He was completely broken. The little amount of progress he had made in healing his heart had disappeared for good.

Chanyeol ran inside to call an ambulance, or even Jin's parents.

He left Jin alone with Jungkook while he decided who to call or what to even do.

With Jin's unpredictable movements, he slipped away from Jungkook's grip and ran into the street.

"Jin! No no, no!! CHANYEOL, JIN IS GONE!" Jungkook took such a long time screaming out for Chanyeol to come and help find Jin, he lost him.

"WHAT!? I TOLD YOU TO WATCH HIM!"

They took off, chasing after him.

~~~
"I can't take this anymore. I can't take this anymore!!"
Jin was sprinting around the neighborhood, trying to find an escape.
He was now in the middle of an intersection.
One side would lead him to a dead end, one to a main road, another one to the woods, and the last one would lead him to a highway.
The fox was low on energy, but he chose the last lane, and headed towards the highway, not taking any chances of being found by Chanyeol or Jungkook.
He didn't want to keep causing them harm with a pain that only Jin himself could understand and heal.
If he stays with Jungkook any longer, seeing him as a husky was like seeing him as a wolf, and that didn't help heal him as much as he thought it was.
Instead of healing, this whole time, Jin had been harming himself by pretending that Jungkook was Namjoon and that he was still alive.
Now that he was back to the painful reality once more, in which Namjoon wasn't with him and that he had been alone all along, Jin wasn't handling it very well.
He wasn't thinking properly. His pain was too much to handle.
The highway was crowded with vehicles of all types. Jin couldn't cut through the traffic, neither could he go back the way he came.
Instead of heading back, he continued running down an endless mountain filled with tall trees that were all around the highway.
Without stepping foot on the road, Jin made it to a destination he himself never thought of going to: A bridge.
The tallest bridge he's ever been to. The boy stared at it for a while.
All that he noticed around him was the prison they had Namjoon in.
~~~

"I'm afraid you won't get the chance to see him any longer..."

"You can say goodbye to your friend when we get there. I don't want you to cause a scene in this hospital. There's already been enough destruction."

~~~
With the policeman's words roaming around Jin's head, he stepped up on the ledge of the
bridge.
He spread his arms open, forming a cross shape, exhaling shortly.
With no hands to protect him anymore, Jin looked down at the busy traffic below him.
"If Namjoon is dead... What's the point in me being alive?"
Jin took one foot off of the bridge, balancing himself with just a single leg.
He pushed himself forward, closing his eyes.
While preparing to free fall off of the bridge, Jin's legs became stiff.
His whole body went numb.
He began crying again. Crying desperately while being pushed away from the ledge of the bridge, being brought back to safety.
The wind blew heavily from above. Jin held on tightly to the reason to why he hasn't killed himself.
He wasn't just holding onto it with his mind, but he was holding onto him with his arms, not wanting to let go.
His heart was about to explode from the fear, pain, and anxiety he felt.
"Never do this again."
Namjoon spoke, holding him in his arms.
Jin was gripping onto the man, pouring his heart out.
"I... I thought... You were dead!" He was shaking to death, his chest closing in on him the harder he sobbed while not wanting to let go of Namjoon.
"I'll never leave you, Jin. I'll always be right here, in your heart."
The man then vanished. Jin had been hallucinating him the entire time.
In reality, Namjoon's spirit saved him from dying.
