The house was empty, not a soul in the hallways or in the rooms. Well, save for Yang Yang. A muffled groan was let out from his throat, his face pressed against his pillow.

He had spent the rest of the day laying in bed, mind wandering back to the video that he'd seen, specifically the person. His brain was still processing what he saw, still not fully convinced of the masked-man's identity.

We rolled over on his side, phone in hand as he scrolled through his contacts. He paused at a name:

"Nana," he read in a whispered tone. He couldn't believe it, and you couldn't blame him all that much.

Nana, or Na Jaemin, was Yang Yang's best friend and classmate when he moved to Korea. They were inseparable, doing almost everything together, but Yang Yang had to move again. They kept in contact throughout the years, but one day, Jaemin ceased all activity online.

Yang Yang didn't take it well, constantly putting the fault on himself. He knew it was about Jaemin's family problems, yet he didn't do anything.

Feeling his eyes water, Yang Yang blinked back tears, which were already threatening to fall. His thumb hovered over the call button, eyebrows knit together in thought.

A sigh escaped his lips as he turned off his phone, rolling on onto his back. Yang Yang let go of his phone, covering his face with his arms as he let his mind wander.

Soon, the boy was fast asleep, his face tear stained and his pillow damp.

"Jaemin, for the last time, you can't leave with the Dreamies. The public knows who you are-"

"And so what? You can't keep me cooped up in this building forever," Jaemin retorted, crossing his arms. "I've learned from my mistakes, Taeyong-hyung. I promise, it won't happen again."

D.O.B: 1/6/95
Nationality: Korean
Position: Boss
Backstory: His family wasn't a stranger to crime. His father a drug-lord, his mother a skilled assassin, and his sister a twisted owner of a casino. It was only expected that he followed in their footsteps, that was until he lost them in a freak accident. Wishing to have a family again, Taeyong formed and lead NCT.

Taeyong let out a sigh, leaning back in his seat as he pinched the bridge of his nose.

"No. I've said it once, and I'll say it a million more times, it's too dangerous. The whole world is already after you," he stated, sitting upright again, looking the boy in the eyes.

"I'm just trying to keep you safe, that's all I want, Jaemin."

He knew it was true, that Taeyong was genuinely worried for him. The man might be a mafia boss, but he has a soft spot for his members, and Jaemin knew it.
