"You what?"
Knock knock
"Um, hello? We're here to fix the power outage sir," a muffled voice said from the other side of the entrance. The Dreamies glanced at Mark, waiting for his call.
He seemed to linger in thought, gun still pointed at the boy on the ground. He let out a sigh, putting his gun back before extending an arm to Yang Yang.
"Come on. Before we get caught."
Yang Yang gripped the older boy's arm, who led the eight of them down the stairwells to the exit. The other boys were still confused, while Jaemin was silent.
The boys made it out to a narrow alleyway, the smell of garbage reeking from the dumpster as water dripped from loose pipes above them. The getaway car was on its way, all they had to do was wait.
"You really wanna do this, kid?" Mark asked, out of the blue. His eyes fixated on Yang Yang, whose grip slowly loosened from Mark's sleeve.
"Yeah, I have no where else to go even if I turn back now."
Jaemin's lips parted, almost adding something, before he decided not to.
"They're here," Renjun exclaimed, gesturing towards a fancy black van, its exterior spotless and shiny. The boys climbed in one by one, Mark staying behind as the last, before getting in and sliding the door shut.
"Alright. Good work bo-" Kun paused mid-sentence, his eyes fixed on the rear view mirror. He twisted around, only to make eye contact with a certain someone.
"Yang, what are you doing here?" Kun sighed, turning back to the front.
"Look, I can expla-"
"And didn't I tell you not to touch him, Jaemin?"
Yang Yang glanced at his old friend, whose gaze rested on his own feet, not looking up.
"Alright then. Change of plans. We'll be dropping off my brother before heading to the runwa-"
"No!"
The Dreamies turned their heads in surprise, all eyes on Yang Yang.
"I want to join them, ge. And there's no way I'm going home. I've wasted a week of my life sulking in there, I wanna start doing something useful with myself," he explained, desperation seeping through his tone.
"Well you could start doing that by getting a proper jo-"
"Sir, there's no time to drop your brother off. We have to head to the runway right away," the driver spoke. Yang Yang silently thanked him for the intervention, letting his shoulders droop in relief.
Kun held his in thought, before giving in. If Yang Yang wanted something, there was no stopping him, and he'd just witnessed a murder, he couldn't really go back to a normal life after this.
"Fine," Kun exhaled, pulling out his phone to make some arrangements.
The Dreamies glanced at each other, feeling awkward getting caught in family drama.

The ride was deathly silent, none of them daring to speak. Once they arrived at the runway, they hopped off the van one by one, heading towards the jet waiting for them.
A hand rested on Yang Yang's shoulder, said boy turning around to find his brother, a backpack in hand.
"I hope you know what you're doing."
The boy nodded, taking the bag, slinging it around his shoulder. Kun left towards the jet, leaving his brother to follow him.
"I won't ask about much, but you two don't really get along, do you?" A voice asked from behind him. One of the members, the small one with chocolate brown hair stood with his one hand on his bag, the other shoved deep in his pocket.
