It all happened in a split second.
Poppa and Izuku were riding in the car peacefully. They were enjoying the calm car ride.
They were sitting at a red light. The radio was playing softly on the speakers. Izuku hummed along with the radio.
He sat in the passenger's side. He put the seat back, since Poppa said it could be dangerous if he was too close to the dashboard.
As they were sitting there, they heard honking behind them.
"What's that noise?" Poppa adjusted the mirror, trying to see what was going on. "Someone must be causing some trou-"
CRASH
Izuku screamed when he was violently jerked forward. He was smushed against the airbag in front if him.
He realized that the car was moving with the truck that hit them.
He curled up in a ball, trying to ease some of the pain he felt and try not to cry.
He wrapped his wings around his body and waited to the car to stop.
A few seconds later, it flipped over.
Izuku screamed again.

Izuku has been sitting in the upside down cat for a bit now. All sounds have been dulled. His vision blurry. His head hurt since he was still buckled in and was hanging upside down.
He tried to see if Poppa was okay, but he didn't hear a word from him since they got hit.
Izuku panicked.
He tried to stay awake. He strained his eyes as he fumbled with the buckle. He attempted to unlatch himself so he could help Poppa.
But he couldn't.
His hands were shaking too much.
He felt tears fall into his hair. His wings and arms hung above his head.
And after a few minutes he let himself fall asleep when he saw someone walk up to the car.
