The final bell rang. A mass of students were already in the hallways, trying to be the first ones out of the school.

The three friends stayed back, waiting for everyone to calm down.

The last day. Last day. Last day.

Izuku repeated those two words in his mind. Over and over until it didn't sound right anymore.

Words were the only things that made sense to him now.

The last day.

The pure euphoria that came intertwined with those words.

He watched Toko-nii and Kacchan talk. He didn't bother listening.

He closed his eyes, wrapping himself in his wings.

Warmth.

Why is he feeling this way?

Heh... Izuku laughed in his head. I made it. I made it to the last day.

He focused on the warmth of his feathers.

He traced the scar running from his scalp to his collarbone.

It still stings.

...
...

"Izu-chan," He heard a crisp voice call for him.

He slowly opened his eyes. He unwrapped himself, losing his precious warmth.

"You ready to go?" Toko-nii asked.

"Yeah," Izuku got up from the chair he sat in. "Yeah.... let's go live our life."

"What the fuck are you, a sap?" Kacchan wrapped his arm around Izukus shoulders, pulling his closer. "We got some training to do, ass-hat."

.
.
He likes watching his friends get along.

He watched their mouths move.

He never listens.

He stopped listening a while ago.

What's the point? He could just watch.

.
.
.
They walked home together. They always leave school late. No matter what.

It was their thing.

Izuku wrapped his wings around his friends, keeping them warm in the slight chill of the night.

He enjoys this.

He enjoys... them. Their company. Their smell. Their voice.

He doesn't want to lose them.

He promised himself that a long time ago.

He doesn't want to lose anyone else.

And hes going to male sure of it.
