"Time to present the results." Mr. Aizawa stated once the three friends calmed down. "The total is simply the aggregate sum of each of your scores. If I recited all your scores, it'd take a million years, so I'll disclose them all at once."

Mr. Aizawa pulled up a machine that displayed a hologram of all their scores.

"Oh yeah, the whole 'expulsion' thing was a lie."

Everyone stared at the teacher, stunned.

"It was a logical ruse to pull out your best performances."

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?" Gravity-Girl yelled.

"C'mon guys, use your brains!" A girl with black hair huffed in annoyance. "Of course it was a ruse!"

"And...right. Yep. What that, it's over." Mr. Aizawa started to walk away from the class. "Your curriculum sheets are back in the classroom so give them a once-over."

Izuku looked over at the hologram. He was shocked to see himself in 16th place. He looked for his friend's scores. He found Kacchan in 3rd place and Toko-nii in 5th. Izuku huffed and decided he needed to work even harder than he planned for.

At the end of the day, Izuku rushed out the door so he could meet Kacchan and Toko-nii out at the front.

"I'm pooped..." He brushed his hair out of his face.

He went to recovery girls, thinking she might have an answer to the sudden pop-up of a new ability. She was worried he was hurt instead and gave him a little smooch.

"Hey, Deku!" He heard someone call out. He was hoping it was Kacchan, but alas, it was Gravity Girl. "I know we don't talk much, but do you mind if I walk home with you today?"

"Oh...I'm walking home with my friends today..." He rubbed the back of his neck. "I don't know you and I don't think Kacchan would like it if I walked home with a stranger instead of him."

"Oh, that's disappointing!" Gravity Girl smiled.

"Oi, Deku!" A familiar gruff voice called.

Izuku sighed in relief, not wanting to talk to Gravity Girl longer than he had to.

"Who the fuck are you?" Kacchan demanded once he and Toko-nii got over to the two.

"I'm Uraraka Oca-"

"You're so damn annoying, Round Face!" Kacchan spat out. "Do you ever shut the hell up?"

"But you asked-"

"Blah blah blah. Go the hell away."

Round Face stomped her way over to Blue Boy, probably complaining about how rude we were.

"Let's go home," Toko-nii suggested once Kacchan stopped blowing smoke out his ears. "I'm tired."

Izuku did not want to go to the Loud Blond Pro's class the next day. He brought ear plugs just in case.

"All right, class, tell me where the mistake is in this next English sentence example..." LBP smiled at the class. "WHO KNOWS THE ANSWER? EVERYBODY HANDS UP AND RAISE THEM HIGH!"

There was the loudness Izuku was waiting for.

Izuku was relieved when they were released for lunch at noon, where he could relax and watch Kacchan and Toko-nii rumble with each other.

But, alas, noon lunch went by faster than Izuku hoped for. Heroics jumped out from the corner and tackled him so hard that he just wanted to go to sleep.

Izuku took his seat and regretted all his life decisions when he heard a booming voice yell out.

"IT'S MEEEEE!" The voice shook the whole island of Japan. "...THROUGH THE DOOR, LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!!!"

Everyone began to go ape-shit.

"I can't believe it! All Might's really gonna be teaching us...!!!"

"That design's so silver age!"

"That art style clashes so much it's giving me goosebumps..."

All might did something someone might call a "cool pose."

"Foundational Hero Studies!" Izuku decided to put his earplugs in. "For this class, we'll be building up your hero foundation through various trials! You'll get tons of credit for it!"

Izuku sighed and watched his teacher ramble.

"Let's jump right in with this!! The trial of battle!!" He held up a card that had the word BATTLE written across it. "The trial of battle... and to go with your first battle... we've prepared the gear we had you send in requests for to match your quirks!"

Parts of the wall came out, releasing tons of numbered cases. Izuku guessed, from what All Might said, that these were their hero outfits.

"Our battle gear!" A kid with red hair yelled out. Izuku decided to call him Hot-Head. "Awesome!"

"Get changed and we'll be ready to go! Everyone gather at Grounds B!" All Might swung his cape in a dramatic fashion. "The garb you bring into the battlefield is vitally important, boys and girls! And don't forget! From here on out, you're all officially heroes!"

Everyone walked in a group in their uniforms. Izuku walked next to Kacchan, feeling a bit strange.

The back of his suit was basically held together by a string. The only thing he really liked was the three feather-shaped cut-outs on his chest. He thought they were cute. He also adorned a pair of pants, light and airy. His shoes and shirt were also light, easy for him to fly in. The colors of his clothes, however, did not fit the description of the suit. They were black or very dark green. He wanted to blend in. A bird of prey.

Izuku reached into the satchel he had placed around his belt loops and retrieved a hair tie. As he walked, he tied his hair up in a messy bun, not bothering about how it looked.

"All right!" Izuku could see All Might's smile from a mile away. "Let's see what you're made of, you embryos!!"

Izuku fit his gloved on his hands, looking to his left and right to look for his friends.

Toko-nii held his always bland expression of feathers and death. Kacchan also held an aura of death, but it wasn't a threat but a promise.

Izuku decided he needed to adopt some of the Death Aura to himself.

He smiled and got ready for the first day of the rest of his life.
