When Izuku's acceptance letter came in the mail, he almost passed out. He was sure he would fail.

He hurriedly ran to Ma when he read through the whole thing. She praised him, told him she loved him. All the good stuff like that.

After he told his friends (and Yagi-Ku) that he got in, he set his letter next to Poppa's picture. He was sure Poppa would be proud of him if he were still here.

Izuku had gotten 7th place overall. All of his points were rescue points, which he gained from... saving people from the robots.

It was his first day at UA. He had to commission the people who made the uniforms to make a set to fit his wings. Just some holes in the back were all he needed.

"Izuku!? Did you pack some tissues!?" Ma wrung her hands in worry.

"Yes, Ma."

"What about your hanky? You can't leave without a hanky, dear!"

"Yes, Ma."

Izuku glanced at the clock on the wall and sighed.

I took too long to get ready. I'm going to be late if I don't hurry up.

"Izuku..."

"Hm?" Izuku paused at the door.

"You're mega cool right now."

"See you later, Ma." Izuku shot a smile at his mother and headed to his first day at UA.

"1-A... Where's 1-A?"

Izuku raced down the halls, looking for his first class.

Every year, less than 1 in every 300 examinees make it in. Only 36 kids passed. So with 18 kids to a class, that makes for just two classes. This fact worried Izuku at first. When he first heard this fact from a student at his old school, he thought of not even going to the exam. He wanted someone more capable to take his place. But, out of his sheer kindness, he passed anyway,

When Izuku reached the door, he had to crane his neck back just to see the top of the said door.

He prayed to all the Gods, new and old, that the boy with blue hair didn't get in the same class as he did, as selfish as it sounded.

But, alas, when he opened the door, he found the blue boy yelling at Kacchan.

"Don't put your legs on the desk! Don't you think that's disrespectful towards your classmates!?" Blue Boy was waving his hands around in worry.

"No, as a matter of fact, I don't think so. Which middle school are you from anyway, you two-bit extra!?" Kacchan bared his teeth at Blue Boy.

"A private sch--ahem. I'm from soumei junior high school." Blue Boy put a hand over his heart. "The name's Iida Tenya."

"Ooo!" Kacchan leaned forward. "Aren't you an elitist!?"

Blue Boy spotted Izuku hiding behind the door and decided to shuffle his way over to him.

"Hello, I'm Iida Tenya from soumei--"

"Oh, yes, I heard..." Izuku wrapped his wings around himself, trying to make himself smaller. "I'm Izuku Midoriya."

"I must hand it to you, Midoriya." Blue Boy pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose. "You seemed way more confident on the battlefield than I thought you..."
