Chapter 11- Mr. blue sky

It was time for the entrance exam. He was training for this moment, he was training for the rest of his life.

He was walking with Toko-nii and Kacchan toward UA. His wings twitched in worry. What are we going to fail? What if he didn't have enough energy to fly through it all?

He kept running the what if's through his head.

And then

he tripped.

Oh, how embarrassing! He hasn't even taken 10 steps, and he's already tripped over his wings. He fell in slow-motion. He watched his world fall apart before he even ventured into it.

But then he remembered he had wings.

He spread out his wings and caught himself right before he ate pavement. He flapped his wings a few times to straighten himself out.

He sighed.

(This is where Wattpad deleted over 500 words of my progress. I don't remember what I wrote down so I'm improvising since it got rid of my draft for this part.)

Izuku flapped his wings to straighten himself.

"Oh, how embarrassing..." He rubbed the back of his neck and wrapped his wings around himself. "I haven't even gotten into the building and I already made a fool of myself."

"Hehe," Toko- nii walked up to him, wrapping an arm around his shoulders. "Don't be ridiculous, Izu-chan! I'm sure everyone will forget it when you show them how awesome you are!"

Izuku smiled at Toko-nii and wrapped a wing around his friend.

"Oy, chickens!" Kacchan called from across the path. "Are we going to take the test or not?"

The two bird pals hurried their way to Kacchan and into UA.

The written exam was easy as pie. Just the simple questions like "Why is the sky blue."

Now, it was time for the... more physical part of the exam.

Izuku tried to tune out the loud hero who was telling them all about the robots. He cupped his hands on his ears and wrapped his wings over his head.

He could still hear the hero through all of this.

"...1 point.... be careful... Yes! You with your hand up!"

Izuku peeked under his wing to see a tall boy with blue hair stand up.

"I do not mean to be rude, but the paper you handed out to us depicts 4 robots, while you are only telling us about three." He pushed his glasses up his nose. "If this is a mistake, you should be ashamed of yourself. Things like this should not happen in UA!"

"As yeah... well..." The hero tried to explain himself, but was interrupted.

"And you there!" He pointed a finger at Izuku. "If you intend on passing this, I highly recommend listening!"

"Oh.. haha... I don't like loud things so..." Izuku looked away from the boy and shrunk in on himself.

"Huuuuh!?" Kacchan slammed his hand down on the table. "Who do you think you are, nerd? How DARE you talk to Deku like that!" Explosions sparked in his hands. "You're scum, get it?! You have no business talking to him at all!"

"Kacchan," Toko-nii glared at him. "Sit down."

Kacchan mumbled something about nerds and sat down, glaring at the boy the rest of the time.
