"Y/n?" Ashley asked.
Everyone looked at me with confused expressions across their faces.
"Uh," I panicked, I looked at Corbyn quickly as he glared at Ashley, trying to signal to her to stop talking.
"Do you guys know each other or something?" Christina asked.
Ashley looked at me confused, she didn't know what to say and didn't understand what was going on.
"Um, well we did both lived in Fairfax. Right? We must have seen each other around town or something or maybe in school?" I quickly said.
Christina looked at Ashley.
"Uh, yeah of course. We had physics together remember?" She said, catching on.
"Oh yeah, I remember now! How have you been?" I asked, getting up and walking towards her.
"Good, good. How about you?" She asked.
"Pretty good," I said.
"How do you guys know each other?" Ashley asked as she looked between me and Christina.
"We go to school together," Christina said.
Ashley nodded, "I'm gonna go freshen up a bit."
"Alright, then maybe you, me, and y/n can do something," Christina said.
"Sounds good to me," Ashley said before walking upstairs.
"Sounds fun," I said.
"Great," Christina said.
"I'll be right back," I said as I started to walk upstairs. I needed to talk to Ashley, I haven't seen her in so long and I need to explain everything. When no one was looking I quickly ran towards the bathroom that Ashley was in and knocked on the door.
"Ashley?" I whispered. "It's y/n."
She opened the door and pulled me inside, closing it behind me. She looked at me for a second before pulling me into a tight hug.
"I can't believe you're here. It's been so long," she said into my shoulder.
"I know right," I agreed.
"Speaking of which, what are you doing here?" She asked after we pulled away from the hug.
"I'm on vacation with Christina and my boyfriend," I said.
"Boyfriend?! Isn't it awkward though because you and Corbyn used to date?" She asked.
"Well you would think but it's not because Christina and Jared, my boyfriend, don't know about Corbyn and I," I said, preparing myself for her reaction.
"Wait what?!" She whisper-shouted.
"When Christina introduced Jared and I to Corbyn he pretended that he didn't know who I was so no one ended up finding out. Christina and I ended up getting close and she invited me to LA. So now here we are and Corbyn and I are still pretending that we are complete strangers," I explained.
"Oh my god, he's such an idiot. Have you talked to him alone yet?"
"Yeah, once, it didn't go very well."
"What happened?"
"It was really late and I was getting water downstairs and then Corbyn came down and we started fighting."
"Oh boy. I hope you guys figure this out before something bad happens. But I missed you."
"I missed you too Ash. And thank you for playing along with all of that back there," I said hugging her once again.
"Of course, I mean I was hella confused at first," she laughed.
"Yeah, sorry about that. But you need to keep pretending like that until Corbyn and I figure this out."
"Ok I'll try. But you and Corbyn seriously need to figure this out soon before something bad happens."
"I know, I know. And we will, we just need time."
Ashley nodded, "we've been in here for a while we should probably go."
"Yeah, you're right. I'll go first." I said before exiting the bathroom. I checked my surrounding to make sure the coast was clear before waking down the stairs.
"Hey! You alright, you were up there for a while," Christina asked once she saw me enter the room.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine I just needed to fix a few things," I said.
"Okay. Do you know if Ashley is ready?" Christina asked.
"Yep, I am!" Ashley called out as she came down the stairs.
"Wonderful. Alright boys we'll be heading out. Don't do anything stupid," Christina said to boys.
They all nodded.
"Bye babe," Jared said, giving me a kiss on the cheek.
"Bye," I said to him.
"He's cute," Ashley whispered in my ear as she walked by me.
I laughed at her remark before joining the girls and grabbing our shoes and then heading out. Let's just hope neither Ashley or I slip up today.
