I stuffed all my clothes into my suitcase. I looked around the room, checking to see if I had everything before zipping up my suitcase. I sat down on the edge of the bed and sighed.
After what has happened I decided to go home for the rest of the summer. Jared already left a few hours ago. Christina is still here. I haven't spoken to either of them, it's probably for the best. This summer changed everything, it feels like I'm back at square one again. So now I go home and attempt to get over Corbyn all over again. I have a feeling I'll never be able to after this time.
I got a text message alerting me that my Uber was here to bring me to the airport. I grabbed my bags before heading downstairs. Everyone looked up at me as reached the bottom of the stairs.
"My Uber is here. I'm heading out," I said.
"Awe bye y/n," Daniel said as he came over and hugged me.
"Bye Daniel," I smiled at him.
"We'll miss you," Zach said pulling me into a hug.
"I'll miss you all too," I responded.
"Bye y/n," Jack said.
"Bye Jack," I said pulling away from his hug.
"Have a safe flight y/n," Jonah said.
"Thank you Jonah," I smiled at him after hugging him.
I looked too Christina who was standing next to Jonah.
"I'm sorry Chris," I apologized.
"It's okay," she said with a small smile.
I hugged her before moving to Corbyn. "Bye Corbyn," I said.
"Bye y/n," He said.
I stared into Corbyn's eyes, unsure of what to do. I wanted to hug him but I figured I shouldn't. The beeping of a car pulled me out of my thoughts. I looked back at Corbyn once more and smiled softly at him. "Bye guys," I waved one last time before making my way outside and to my Uber.
Corbyn's POV
I watched as y/n's Uber drove away. I moved away from the window and walked into the kitchen, slumping down on the counter.
"Hey bud," Jonah said.
"You okay?" Daniel asked.
I looked up at them, "I'm fine."
"Corbyn," Jack narrowed his eyes at me.
"Look I'm okay. I think I just need time," I said before getting up and walking upstairs. I could hear the guys calling my name a I walked upstairs but I ignored them and walked into my room, closing the door. I laid down on my bed, staring up at the ceiling. I grabbed my pillow pushing it against my face, letting out a frustrated groan. I threw the pillow across the room, sighing. Then there was a knock on the door.
"Corbyn?" It was Christina.
"Come in," I called.
She slowly opened the door, spotting me on the bed. "Hi," she said quietly.
"Hey," I breathed out.
"I thought we should talk. I'm leaving soon," She said, closing the door and walking over to me.
I sat up, on the bed, giving her room to sit. "I'm really sorry Christina," I finally said.
"It's alright Corbyn, I want to be mad but it's better this way."
I looked at her confused.
"I can't be with someone who doesn't love me the way I love them. I do love you Corbyn. And that's why I'm gonna let you go and be with y/n. I want you to be happy, I can tell that y/n is the one who makes you happy. The two of you have some sort of connection and I'm not gonna get in the way of that. So, go after her."
I paused, absorbing what she just said. "Really?" I asked shocked.
"Yes! Now go, before it's too late," Christina smiled.
"Thank you so much for everything Christina," I said hugging her.
"Of course."
I stood up before running down stairs and into the living room. "Boys, I need a plane ticket!" I announced as I ran in front fo the tv.
"To where?" They asked.
"Virginia."
