Love Made
I would travel to the stars and back
To light the fire in your eyes.
And have the clouds of your heavenly skin
Touch the earth that makes up mine.
The sound of whispers in the grass
Mirrors the heat you speak into my ears,
And though we may lay in sin,
The darkness does not reflect our fears.
The sun will shine and awaken the day,
It's beams lighting through the water's brine.
And while we cannot feel the ground,
The earth spins on in its design.

The Soul
The depths of an unending soul
Reach darker than the deepest sea,
Soar higher than the coldest mountain,
And travel farther than a speck of light.
It can be seen through the eyes,
Which are God's doorways to the soul,
Which you can step through and become lost
In their everlasting profundity.
