My Best Friend's Girlfriend (Camren)

Chapter 3

Camila’s POV :

"Come on" Lauren's cheery husky voice can be heard all over the street. "We're gonna have so much fun"

"I don't feel like it" I said hoping that would back her down.

"It's a good day for you to be grumpy, Camzi" She snickered. "Hmm...that's what I'll call you, Grumpy Camzi"

"Like I even care" I said glumly.

I didn't even mind where Lauren was taking me. All I care is that I miss Austin and I want him with me but he's gone. I was about to cry again when Lauren damped the soda on my cheek making me jump a little.

"What the hell, Lauren Michele?!"

"Well, you were about to cry again." She said raising her hands up "I need to stop it somehow"

"Like that helped." I rolled my eyes.

She looked at me closely and smirked. "Well it did."

Really?! She's getting on my nerves now. I didn't know Lauren can be so.....annoying. I really hate these kind of people. She dragged me to every corner, every food stand and then lastly we came across a zoo. She gently led me across on the bear giving hugs to her cubs. A smiled weakly as I saw the cute scene. But it didn't help me at all.

"Hey Camz"

"Hmm?"

"Wanna see the elephants?"

I chuckled softly "Well I am ,with one right now"

"Very funny" she said rolling her eyes.

"Well I'll just stick with Elephant here" I said sticking my tounge out.

"That can be fun Grumpy Camzi" She snickered.

I was beginning to have fun on our trip...My first impression was, she was there to annoy me but then I finally realized....She was there because she's worried about me. I couldn't help but feel a little guilty about it. We passed on different animals, looking at them one by one. Lauren was there being her goofy self making me laugh.

Then I heard something, "Camila"

"Camila" the voice then kept on calling my name...When I turned around I saw...Austin, his brown hair, his blue eyes and fair complexion.

"Camila"

"Huh?" I managed to say. Then when I blinked, I saw Lauren....It was just her all along. My face fell and my eyes began to water. Lauren looked troubled then started to pat my back.

"C-Camz, was it something I said? All I said was Dolphins are mammals." She said. "Camz"

"Lauren, thanks for today but I think I'm good" I said beginning to stand up. Lauren quickly grabed my wrist.

"There's one place I wanted to take you" She said seriously.

"If it the amusement park then forget it, I would rathe---"

"It's not the amusement park. It's just somewhere" She said looking away. "Please"

I slowly nodded then let her take me to where this special place is. On our way there she suddenly stopped then faced me.

"I want you to close your eyes." She said

"Why do I have to clo---"

"Just do it." She said turning her back on me.

I closed my eyes then felt Lauren's hand holding my arm. She began to lead me into a rocky road...full of grass. Somehow it felt so familiar...

"You can open it now." She said.
