Camila’s POV:

"Camz." Lauren waved her hand at my face. I snapped out of it and stare at her innocent face. She looked at me with concern and love in her eyes. "Are you listening?"

I look around her room. My eyes landed on her clock, 8:45 p.m... I gulped then look back at her. I never knew this sleep-over's gonna be a pain in the head. But I need to tell her. She has the right to know.

"Umm... What again?" I smiled.

She sighed then raised one eyebrow. "Ally's having a barbeque tomorrow, Do you wanna come?"

"Uh-Yeah... sure...That'll be great."

Then there was a long awkward silence.

"Is something bothering you, Camz?" Lauren asked. "Ever since you've got here, you've been in a daze. You're not even listening to me."

"I-It's nothing really. I-"

"Camz." She looked at me, this time with eyes I can't resist. "I know you. You were never that good in hiding things."

I softly chuckled then brushed my lips against her. It was soft and warm at the same time. She was surprised, no doubt. But seconds later, I felt her kissing back. Her hands went up to my face then she slowly pulled away, staring at my eyes.

"What was that for?" She whispered.

"Is it bad to kiss someone you love?" I smiled.

"Oh Really-- Wait..." She paused then look at me with a smile in her face. "Did you just say you--"

"Yes." I smiled. "I love you, Lauren."

"Am I dreaming?" She whispered at my ear. "But It seems so real."

"Well I wish it wasn't." I frowned

She backed away then look at me funny. "What do you mean by that?"

As Lauren look at me with mix emotions, a flashback came right inside my head. It was so clear that I can't help but remember it.

"What?!" I said in disbelief. "W-Why?"

"It's you're Aunt Daisy." Dad said. "Someone needs to take care of her."

"How about Uncle Rola-"

"Roland and Daisy are divorced, Camila." Mom cutted in. "He's just gonna make things worse."

I looked down and stared at my feet. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I look up and saw that it was my Dad, with eyes warm and soothing.

"I'm sorry sweetie. I mean... things about you and Laur-"

"No." I said. "Lauren and I...--breaths deeply-- aren't a thing. I can leave her...It's no big deal." I gulped then bit my lip.

"Are you sure there's nothing more?" Mom asked, with concern in her voice. "I mean... It's because of her, you-"

"I don't wanna talk about it, okay?" I snapped. I sighed then slowly nodded. "When are we leaving?"

"Two days from now." Dad said. "But are you su-"

"Yes. Aunt Daisy's health is more important.... for now. " I sighed then ran upstairs.

"How about dinner?" Mom shouted.

"Maybe later." I smiled, weakly. "I need some time to think."

All of it came out in a blink. I'm now facing the hardest thing a girl should face. I wish this was a nightmare. That maybe, I'm gonna wake up in my bed and have another usual day with Lauren. But I wasn't in a bed. I wasn't in my room. I wasn't dreaming. And this is real.
