Love Is Not Enough [Complete]

Chapter Eleven

I went inside the house then stood behind the door like a teenager girl who's in love.
I know I have strong feelings for Linda. And I know it's too soon to be falling in love with her but I can't help it. I walked to the window and saw her walking back slowly. She's beautiful even from behind.
As I watched Linda my phone vibrated in my pockets.

"Crap", I whispered when I saw the caller ID.

With a bored expression I answered the call.
"Hey babe", I whispered. I didn't want to wake anybody. I'm sure Lelo was still here.

"Whay are you whispering?", Brenda asked with a bit of attitude.

"Its 2:15 am, I don't wanna wake anybody up", I whisper yelled at her.
And why was she calling me at this hour though?

"Oh, sorry babe",
"Nana tells me you were out with Linda not too long ago", she said.
I knew she was sent to spy.

"Right. I figured she'd tell you. Well she lied cause right now I'm in my room", I lied since I had no plans of pissing her off more.

"Nana wouldn't lie to me", she replied.

"Is that why you called at this hour?", I asked getting pissed myself.

"Wanted to check if you're not up to something", she said then sighed. She sounded a little off. I think she's getting tired of me the same way I am of her.

"Since when do you do that?", I asked.

"Since the day that girl moved here", she answered quicker than I thought.

"I'm tired. I'll call you in the morning", I said before hanging up.
Girls are just, I do don't know... they're just girls?

I slowly walked up to my room making sure I don't wake anyone in that process. Especially my Mum.
When I got to my room I quickly took off my clothes remaining only in my boxers. I got in my bed covers then felt someone on the other side.
I jumped off the bed to switch on the lights.

"Its half 2 in the morning, where were you?", Lelo asked with a pissed expression.

She last saw me at dinner time.
After the run I had, I hanged out with JR. I wanted to be closer to Linda though but it didn't go as I planned. Lelo didn't call to check on me so I thought she got mad and left with her Dad, but I had a feeling I might find her here since she enjoys torturing me.

"I don't have to explain myself to you", I said then picked up my pants to put them on.

"Yes you do have to explain, I'm your fiance", she said sitting up. She was dressed in her pink and yellow pajamas, the ones I love.
Those pyjamas make her look beautiful. It just brings out a different side of her, the side that made me want to be with her that night which turned my life into hell.

"Lelo, why are you doing this to me? Why don't you break off the engagement like we planned? You know your Dad does whatever you want for you", I pleaded with her.

I was tired of her. I really can't be with someone that I don't love. That's more reason I wanna break it off with Brenda. Gosh I'm so useless sometimes. I always fall for the ones I don't love. Now that I think I've finally met her, I can't be with her.
Before Linda moved here I had no problem. I didn't care about how bad my life is. I didn't care if Lelo found out I was cheating or if Brenda found out I was cheating.
But Linda is different. She actually makes me wanna start my whole life from scratch.

"I'm in love with you Bruno, I can't break up with you. I know I said I'd break off the engagement but I wanna be with you now", she said sadly.

"Okay now you're being selfish", I said moving slowly towards her.
