Love Is Not Enough [Complete]

Chapter Twenty Seven

I thought being in a new school would actually be hard. I've imagined mean girls, popular ones, nerds, but actually it's just cool students.
I've made friends, glad it didn't take me the whole month, but its 2 guys from my science class, Edmond and Sihle. Cool guys but totally different from one another. They have nothing in common apart from the fact that they love science.
Edmond is taller than Sihle and I, he has  dark skin and he's skinny.
Sihle is short, even shorter than I am. He's got coconut skin, fit body as if he goes to the gym every week and he's cute, way cuter than Edmond.
A few days back Bruno displayed his jealous side when he caught me walking with Edmond. I almost laughed at the whole scene but decided not to.
So now I haven't seen him since monday afternoon. I wanted to actually forgive him right there but then I felt like he'd see right through me how much I love him.

Beep.
The sound from my phone snapped me out of my thoughts. I should be done with my homework but I'm busy thinking of what goes on in my life.
Today I came back from school and stayed in my room busy with school work, I wasn't in a mood for anyone.
I picked up my phone from the dresser table to check it. It was a text message from Sky saying:
I'm here with Adrian. He wanted me to give him your numbers but I refused, so he asked me to accompany him here to get your numbers himself.
“Does he mean he's right outside?”, I got all confused.
I decided to call him, so I pressed on the call button under his contact name.

"Hey beautiful", he answered after the second ring.

"Hey, what do you mean by accompanied Adrian here", I asked.

"We at your gate",
Oh my gosh... if Bruno is around, he's gonna be so mad.
I hanged up my phone, rushed to get proper shoes from my closet since I was wearing sleeper shoes, then ran out of my room.

"No running in the house", Kate yelled.

"Sorry", I yelled back but didn't dare to stop.

I opened the front door, my eyes immediately facing the driveway and boom, they're really here.
"Hey guys", I greeted, my head popped in Sky's window. "You do know that JR would kill you if he finds you parked here right?", I asked Sky, I meant it as a joke but seriously JR would be pissed.

"I thought he's inside", he answered pointing at my house.

"Who's JR?", Adrian asked as he got out of the car.

"My brother",
"I thought everybody knows JR around this town",

"Oh he knows him, he'll remember when he sees his face", Sky said with a huge smile.

"So, did we disturb you on something or?", Adrian asked, he looked like somebody who wasn't sure what to say.

"Was busy with homework but I'm done", I lied, just wanted to hangout with them a little longer.

"Sky told you what I came here for?", Adrian asked as he got closer to where I'm standing.
Guys like doing that, and it charms me all the time.

"He highlighted, but you can clarify it for me", I said with my “I'll charm you too” voice.
He smiled more, moving a little more closer. He was not standing real close, only inches apart.
As we both smiled at each other, flirting obviously, we heard someone clearing his throat.
I thought it was Sky but when we turned its JR, he was with Bruno.
I just rolled my eyes. Everytime I'm with a guy Bruno pops up, I'm starting to think he's following me or something.

"What's going on here?", JR asked.

"You guys are back to being best friends now?", I asked ignoring his question.
