"Nous y voilà !" Grace sighed in delight.

They had just landed in France. After they had left the asylum, Lana had been to her house, just to discover Wendy, in their bed with another man. It helped their break up, the brunette didn't have to find any excuses : her ex-girlfriend had given her one. She had left her house, and joined Grace and Shelley for their trip to France. They were now in Paris, at the Charles De Gaulle airport, taking their luggage back. It was hard for them to realize their new freedom, but here they were. And damn, they were going to enjoy it.

Jude was standing on the doorstep of the house she was going to confess her worst secret in. The "girl in blue"'s house.

Mary-Eunice kept torturing her with that memory, and the nun knew that the only way for this to stop was to apologize and confess her crime to this girl's family.

She knocked, and a woman who seemed to be the same age as her opened the door. The blonde invented a lame excuse to come inside, and the woman gladly let her in. Her husband was here, too. They talked for a while, then Jude spotted a picture of the girl, wearing her beloved blue coat.

"I remember... her blue coat..." she whispered, taking the frame to take a closer look.

"Oh yeah, she had loved it since the moment she had laid her eyes on it." The woman laughed slightly.

"Truth is..." Jude was carefully choosing her words. "I came here... to tell you a story... about your daughter, Missy..." she couldn't finish her sentence : she was cut by the front door opening, and a girl in her twenties entering the living room. She was dressed as a nurse and complaining about her night shift. The nun was unable to move, she couldn't believe what was happening. Was she dreaming ? Was this girl Missy ?

"You're... you're Missy ?" She stammered.

"I am. Who are you ?" The brunette asked in return.

"I-I'm a nun... but... I thought... I thought you were dead... that a car ran you over..." tears were coming out of Jude's eyes before she was able to stop them.

Missy's parents explained that their daughter came back with a few broken bones, but hadn't died. Jude was relieved. It was a miracle.

"Your... your story happened... at the time I was thinking about joining the Church... indeed, it was one of the main reasons why I took the Vows..." the nun admitted. Missy offered her a tiny smile. "And these days... I've been struggling with my faith... wondering if I really belonged in the Church... and here you are." She sobbed, smiling. She had been hating herself, all these years, for this little girl's death... but miraculously, she was right in front of her, in flesh and blood ! She kept talking with the family for about an hour, then decided to go back to Briarcliff. Tonight was a big night : she was going to practice an exorcism on Mary-Eunice.

"Let me out of these straps !" Mary-Eunice yelled. Jude had caught her by surprise, which was no small task. She had put sleeping pills in her drink, then strapped her to one of the beds while she was asleep. The older nun was now reciting the exorcism, helped by other sisters, who were sparkling Holy Water on the blonde. "It burns !" Mary whined, the liquid was leaving red marks on her skin. "Let me go ! Please !" Jude could have been tricked by the Devil's play, which consisted of letting the suffering girl speak, but she knew what she had to do.

"Cessa decipere humanas creaturas, eisque æternæ perditionis venenum propinare..." she felt her Bible trying to escape her hands, and knew that it was the Devil's doing. She gripped it firmly and continued reading until the end. "... Amen." When she finished the ritual, the young blonde was convulsing on the bed, dribbling. She finally fell down on the mattress, unconscious. One of the nuns checked her vitals, reassuring Jude : she was alive.

A few days later, Mary-Eunice woke up, back to her true self. Jude greeted her warmly, forgiving her for all the trouble she had caused when she was possessed, and told her that she could have all the time she wanted in order to rest after this nerve-wracking experience. The blonde nun didn't wait more than a week to start working again : there was much more to do at Briarcliff since Arden and the Monsignor's departure. She got her place back in the asylum, even though the other nuns were still not accepting her. She sadly discovered that Lana had left without her, despite her promises, and that she was alone, once again.

A few months after, Jude announced she was quitting the Church. Rumor had it that she had found love, and was leaving for him. She left Briarcliff in Mary-Eunice's hands. The blonde girl didn't want to bear such a huge responsibility, that's why she let Sister Linda take the lead... oblivious to what it was going to cost her.

Linda, as the other nuns, despised Mary-Eunice. When she took over her, she elaborated a plan with the others in order to take the blonde down in a way that would never allow her to make her way upwards again.

"I'm- I'm what ?" The innocent blonde stammered.

"You're our new inmate. Due to your recent behavior, I'm in the need to commit you. You'll stay at Briarcliff as n°666. I chose it personally." She offered her a snide smile, before cuffing her. "Let's go, I'll take you to your room."

This was the beginning of the worst part of Mary-Eunice's life. Even worse than what she had undergone before taking the Holy orders. Each morning, she would be woken up at 5:30 a.m., half an hour before the rest of the asylum. Her room was isolated so that she wouldn't be able to talk to anyone. Just after waking up, she was taken to the hydrotherapy room, where she was boiled, then frozen. After that, she was brought to the electroshock therapy : being still damp, the electricity would run all over her body, not only in her temples. The rest of the day would go the same way as for the other inmates, except the fact that she couldn't talk, or interact with them. Before going to bed, she had to repeat the morning ritual, and end up half numb in her room. Her food rations were reduced, comparing to the others', and she didn't get to entertain herself the way the others could. As she was becoming less and less sane, one question remained.

What had she done to deserve that ?
