We watched the lanterns fly into the sky.

Asher came up behind me wrapping his arms around my waist,

Watching them float higher and higher

"He's not so bad" he whispered talking about hayden who currently sat watching the lanterns his eyes glossy and i let out a small laugh

"Yeah He isn't"

Asher slipped a note into my hand before kissing my cheek and walking away.

I furrowed my eyebrows looking at the note.

'Meet me in the our future 'bedroom' in 10 minutes, come alone x'

I frowned confused by the note but stuffed it in my pocket and walking over to hayden who was typing on his phone.

"You feel better?" I asked sliding onto the seat next to him

"Mm?" He asked distracted by his phone

"The lanterns did they help?"

"Oh yeah of course i like this way of talking to him it feels more I don't know natural" he said putting his phone down but it soon vibrated again

"Look at you mr popular" i teased nudging his shoulder he laughed picking his phone up a smile on his face before he typed back

"A girl?" I asked and he turned to me frowning "I don't mind if you're seeing someone hayden i've moved on" i reassured him with a giggle.

Then he began to tell me all about this girl called paige he had met in london (a/n teehee thats meh)

"She's amazing annie like seriously and we talk everyday i just wish she wasn't so far away sometimes" he frowns but smiles again hopping off the seat

"Anyway im off i had a great time today annie. Thank you for allowing me to do this it really helped and again im really sorry about the past" i stood up too smiling wide and then i wrapped him in a hug.

He hesitated before hugging back

"I've missed you" i mumbled into his chest

"I've missed you too, now you go get up those stairs because I believe someone's waiting for you" he teased pulling me away and winking

I punched his shoulder before saying one last bye and then heading inside and upstairs like asher had asked.

Fairy lights strung around the room a speaker faintly playing 'you found me by the fray'.

"You found me YOU FOUND ME LYING ON THE FLoOr" asher belted out literally laid on the floor i chuckled and he grabbed a hold of my ankle "surround meH surround Mee" he sang tugging my leg for me to lay with him.

So i did i laid besides him staring up at the stars through our 'skylight"

"Annie" he spoke softly our hands brushing against one another

"Mmm?" I answered turning my head and facing him

"Hi" he whispered

"Hey" i replied

"I think im falling in love with you" he confessed in a whisper

{this is probably the most sappy love story i've ever written and you know what i love it 🥰
