Ashers hand linked with mine as we walked down the path in the park
"Have you heard from your parents?" He asked as we turn walking past a lake,
"No but hayden said something about a divorce.... its what they need" i sigh
"I wish they treated you better pumpkin" he says softly stopping and holding both my hands in his
"Pumpkin huh? What happened to shortcake?" I asked my smile wide
"Meh it got old" he shrugged his face serious but then a wide smile took over his face
"What?" I asked beginning to feel self conscious
"You're really beautiful"
I immediately blush cringing slightly at his words
"Shut up ass-her" i hit his shoulder and he laughed
"But seriously annie you're gorgeous im surprised I didn't notice you before" his voice is small and his smile now dropped
"You notice me now" i place a hand on his cheek and bring his gaze back to mine "and thats all that matters"
The frown stays on his face his eyebrows furrowed as i lean up and press my lips to his.
He doesn't kiss back at first but when he does its filled with so much pain and passion.
"I made a mistake annie and you're going to hate me for it" he mutters pulling away our foreheads still pressed Together
"Wha-"
He crashes his lips back into mine, roughly
"Im going away for a few days i'll be back and i will explain everything I promise"
He says his hand on the small of my back drawing me closer
My heart was hammering, i was confused, questions racking my brain.
"Im going to fix this"
And with those words he planted a kiss on my forehead, turned on his heel and left.
Leaving, just like they always do.
