I laid in my silk bed, not wanting to get up, as bright Asgardian sunbeams rushed through my windows. Much to my lazy dismay, Naomi and Nova came rushing into the room that belonged to Thor and I.

"Mommy!" My twin daughters squealed in sync. "Hi, cuties." I said, embracing them into a hug as the two leaped onto the bed and into my arms. "We have a surprise for you!" Naomi said, as a grin struck her face, making the dimples that she inherited from her father show.

"Oh, do you now?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow as a smile found its way to my face due to their adorable excitement. "Yup! Come on!" Nova said. Her blue eyes twinkled with delight, and she grabbed my left hand - but stopped a moment to admire the sparkling ring that decorated it.

Snapping out of her diamond induced trance, Nova pulled me out of the warm covers with the help of Naomi. They dragged me through many hallways and room, each gripping a hand of mine tightly.

The pair reminded me so much of Thor. It made my heart hurt to see them whenever he was on a mission, but I had to be strong.

For Thor, and for our beautiful daughters.

Naomi was older, and ad gotten my E/C eyes - but had Thor's dimples and blonde hair. Nova had a grin that looked exactly mine, and hair that was the same H/C shade. Her eyes however, were like Thor's. They were a deep blue. Whenever she was happy, they sparkled and shined. But when she was mad, they turned to a darker grey-blue, like a stormy ocean.

Naomi carried herself with the confidence of Thor, even though she was only 8. Nova, however, was more like me. She was slightly timid, but knew she was powerful. Both had powers. Nova could control lightning, like her father, and Naomi predicted danger as I could.

Our daughters were a mix of the two of us, and I loved them with all of my heart. But Thor had been gone for almost an entire year, and it made my chest ache.

"Mommy!" Nova said, waving a tiny hand in front of my face. "Huh?" I replied incredulously. I had gotten trapped in my thoughts - a common occurrence while Thor was on a mission back on Earth.

Naomi and Nova were used to it, but that didn't stop me from feeling guilty. "I'm sorry, darling. I'm just thinking." Naomi giggled at me as we rounded another corner, turning into the main hall of the palace. "You think a lot, Mommy." She said.

"That she does."

Another voice had joined our conversation.

My loving husband was tackled by Naomi and Nova. They each clung to a leg of his, wrapping themselves around him. Happy tears started to stream down my face. I hadn't seen Thor in a year, but it had felt like a millennia. I had to stay in Asgard to preform my duties as queen, and to take care of the girls. I had missed him like crazy.

He laughed with our daughters, and once it died down - looked to me. Seeing my tear-streaked face, Thor knew what I needed.

Him.

He leaned down to Naomi and Nova, and said, "You two might want to leave. I have feeling things are going to get mushy." The two little girls detached from his legs, and ran off squealing, "Ewwwwwww!" He chuckled as he watched them scamper down a hallway, eager to escape our reunion.

"Thor." I whispered, as silent tears ran down my cheeks. He stepped forward, his expression turning to a mixture of guilt, happiness, and love. "Y/N, I missed you. So much, Princess."

I looked at the man I loved, my vision blurring with tears. He came closer to me, and wiped them away from my rosy cheeks. He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer into a kiss. It was like butterflies danced in my stomach, and my heart was being lit up by cheerful fireworks. I was fondly remember of our first kiss. I was in such panic then - filled with disarray and fear.

But he had lifted me up - he saved me from hating and fearing myself. I loved him, and he loved me.

Finally pulling away, I smiled at him. "Took you long enough." He laughed, and enveloped me in a hug. "Gods, I'm glad to see your beautiful self again." He said. "Well," I responded, grinning mischievously. "Who did you are you happier to see? Me, or the girls?"

"First of all, Princess, that is a strange question. Secondly, I'm slightly biased since Naomi and Nova will be ruling Asgard one day.."

I faked gasped as he grinned at me, and I slapped him lightly upside the head. Looking past Thor, I saw two little heads peek out from around a corner. "Are you done now?" Nova asked timidly. Thor and I laughed, and ushered the over. Naomi and Nova rushed to us, and squished our legs in a hug. I knelt down to be at their level so that I could hug them properly, and Thor did the same. Closing my eyes, I basked in the feeling of wholeness as three sets of arms were wrapped tightly around me.

Thor - the King of Asgard, God of Thunder, and my husband.

Naomi - the first heiress of Asgard, blonde little girl, and eldest daughter of ours.

Nova - the second of the two princesses, extremely spoiled darling, and youngest in the royal family.

"My three favorite girls." Thor said quietly as he hugged us tightly. "I love you too." I muttered, in perfect sync with my daughters. He chuckled at our joined mischief and just hugged us tighter.

Happiness engulfed me as I smiled, perfectly contented.
