Cassie was two minutes away from smashing her head against the freezer door.

Dustin, Steve, and Cassie were sat around the table in the Scoops Ahoy break room, Cass's curls spread across the table where her head lay, face down as her english brain tried to decipher Russian words.

Steve paced the length of the room, a banana in his hand as he listened intently, Dustin sat next to Cass, watching him expectantly.

Dustin reached forward, turning the recorder off for the umpteenth time, looking at the male teen as he jammed a piece of his snack into his mouth.

"So, what do you think?"

"It sounded familiar," Steve said, eyebrows furrowed, Cassie groaning as she lifted her head up tiredly. She had managed to convince Hopper to allow her to 'spend the night at Nancy's', but she had really taken a detour to her boyfriend's house. They hadn't gotten much sleep.

"What part of that was familiar to you, King Steve?"

"The music," Steve said over a bite of his banana. "The music right there at the end."

Dustin exploded at the older teen, Cassie finding amusement out of the sight of the young boy yelling at her boyfriend, smirking between the two.

"Why are you listening to the music, Steve? Listen to the Russian!" Dustin motioned to the dictionary and the tape recorder, both lying on the table. "We're translating Russian!"

"I'm trying to listen to the Russian," Steve exclaimed, gesturing to the table as well. "But there's music-"

As chaos began to unfold, Robin burst into the room, her yelling rising over the rest of their's. "Alright, babysitting time is over."

Cass snorted, "Is that supposed to be towards Steve or Dustin?" She felt a gentle push on her shoulder, looking over to see Steve playfully narrowing his eyes at her, making her tongue pop out at him in a joking manner.

"Oh, that's mature."

Robin responded to Steve's words, pointing her scooper at him, "What would be mature is getting out there and doing your job, I can't deal with those kids anymore- Hey, my board!"

Robin's attention shifts to the board where the Russian alphabet was written in a shitty attempt to decipher the Russian code. "That was important data, shitbirds."

"I guarantee you, what we're doing is way more important than your data." Cassie shrugged at her little friend, raising her eyebrows. "That's presumptuous of you."

"Hey, I know what that means now and it's not good-"

"Would you like to explain how you know these Russians are up to no good anyways?"
