Princess's Point Of View:

"It's okay, go. He will never know you left," I tried to convince Kayla to go to the store for us and pick up some Sunny D.

I was craving that so much right now, my mouth watered for it. Since I couldn't go outside she had no choice.

"Fine, I'll be back quick. You sure you going to be fine?" She questioned as I nodded my head even smiling to give her some reassurance.

"Alright beautiful ," watching her walk downstairs I sighed finally getting to enjoy some peace and quiet. I knew my pregnancy glow, and smile would work on her.

I couldn't lie and say I wasn't stressed out right now. I was so use to being apart of everything and making sure everyone was good, that it was taking me a while to process that I had a whole other life to think about now.

I couldn't put my child in danger.

The only thing I was proud about was I let my natural hair hang, tired of the weave keeping me from scratching my scalp.

Laying down on my bed I closed my eyes for a few seconds taking a deep breath trying to get a few minutes of meditation. The store Kayla was going to was only fifteen minutes away.

Creaking of the wood floors caught my attention as I opened my eyes again sighing. "Kayla, you still here?" I questioned yelling not getting a response from downstairs.

Not hearing anything I ignored it figuring I was just buggin'.

Hearing it again I rose off the bed grabbing the gun from the night stand drawer.

The floors only creaked when someone was walking. I knew the house inside and out, someone was in here.

Creeping out the room, I would have called Jayceon but my phone was downstairs on the kitchen counter, when I was in there looking for some Sunny D.

Passing all the rooms, I headed down the stairs slowing aiming the gun in front of me I felt my heart beat fast as I hoped my nerves weren't getting the best of me.

Force took over my body, as my body jerked down the stairs tumbling after being pushed. Holding my stomach screaming I rolled off each step with tears flowing out my eyes worried for my child, and I's life.

Hearing footsteps come down the stairs, my head banged on the wood floor as my stomach cramped up making me scream in pain.

Looking up, a figure was in front of me as they looked down at me. Scared to see their face, snickering left their mouth as I raised my head.
