Tarell's Point Of View:

"How's the lawyer shit going?" Don questioned coming up to me with his tray of food taking a seat at the table. I was sitting by myself on purpose, I didn't want a conversation.

Dropping my spork back on the tray, I sighed looking up at him as he smirked.

"I know you don't want to talk. Trust me I get it, you just want to get the fuck out of here. We all do. You should make the best out of it though-"

"There isn't making any good out of this situation nigga. This shit is trash. The only good thing about here is the food looks semi okay. I ain't trying to be happy about sleeping on an uncomfortable bunk bed with a nigga at the top of the bed that shits in between the night. I ain't trying to make friends or none of that. You cool, but I hope you understand," looking back down at my food I sighed picking up the spork once again.

"You gon' see," he said getting up leaving me alone like I basically asked for.

"Five minutes before your shower inmates!" An officer yelled as I forced myself to eat all the food quickly, since after a while it started tasting decent.

It needed more seasoning though.

Looking around the half fulled cafeteria, only a few people were allowed to be in here at a time. It was there way of keeping control of the situation, giving us all a lunch time like high school.

I dropped out of high school because I ain't want to go through this shit. I didn't like anyone telling me what to do. Especially when to eat.

A group of Hispanic niggas stared at me, whispering amongst themselves as I groaned to myself.

If not I would be washing with straight cold water.

Paying attention to my business, and my business only I stared at the window on the other side of the bathroom.

Officers, even the female ones randomly walked by not giving us any privacy not that I thought I would get any of that anyway.
