We all stand outside waiting for my mother to check out. I wear a blue hoodie and black leggings that my mother gifting me this morning, she even bought Cade something too. It was still drizzling from last night and with every drop I could feel my memory of the glowing rush through my head. A faint color still glowed in my veins so I conceal the color with my arm with my hoodie. My mother walks out of the hotel with a fake happy smile and walks over to us. "Okay well, we're all set to go." she says still trying a smile. I look over at Cade who seemed usually un cheerful this morning. "Thanks so much for joining us, and we'll saving my daughter's life." my mother said turning to Cade. oh, that's why. I immediately start to panic ,before my brain knows why. "I'm sure Cade doesn't have any plans," I shout between them. They both look at me. " I mean, if Cade wants, he could stay." I say glancing at Cade. He smiles slightly but then removes it when he glances back at my mom. "well, Cade would you like to stay for a while?" my mother asks. "well I do wish to stay." He says trailing off. "Great!" I say a little bit too loudly. Their eyes find mine and I smile sheepishly. " But I do have some other things to take care of." Cade continues. My smile leaves my face as he speaks. "I guess I'll see you guys around. Good bye." Cade says. He offers a hand to my mother. "Good bye short stack." He says to Jeffery. Cade turns toward me. "Bye." He says quietly offering me a hug. I reach into him and hug him tightly. I didn't want him to leave. Not at all. I suddenly realize his hands have moved down toward my butt. About to pull away in anger, I felt him slip a piece of folded paper in the tuck of my leggings. He releases me, turns around and leaves without another word.

I walk into my room and stretch out myself on my bed. I could hear the soft pats of rain now starting on my window. I don't get much sunny days in Seattle, but I never really hated this kind of weather.. until now of course. I reach behind me and pull out the paper Cade had placed there. I unfold the paper and observe it. It was a note with only 4 things on it. 'Tonight, 1:00 am, meadow outside of town. Come.' I shiver at the words. Meadow outside of town. The same meadow I had been in before. I don't know why he'd call me there but it didn't matter. I was going to go see him.
