Jessi dramatically pushed open the double glass doors that led into the main laboratory inside of the Avengers Compound, and she displayed to her father where they'd begin building the new and improved time travel device. He walked with his arm around her shoulders, using his other hand to motion as he spoke about various other time related theories. They approached Scott's rusty van and Tony took a quick peak in at the machine inside "I feel complete now, knowing that we have two Starks on board" Natasha Romanoff said lightly from beside the computer setup next to Doctor Banner.
"She's been my partner in crime since the age of nine" Tony pointed out to Jessi, squeezing her arm. She gave an embarrassed smile. Tony then set his gaze on Bruce Banner who certainly looked different from the last time that they had spoken "You got buff, man. I dig it. Lifting weights much? Calisthenics?"
"It's a little thing that I like to call the Gamma radiation chamber" Bruce corrected.
"That was my third guess"
The Hulk smiled softly "It's good to see you Tony"
"You too, Bruce, you too"
Tony looked around contently at the small group of Avengers who stood with him, then he clapped his hands and rubbed them together "What's first?" he looked to Steve Rogers.
"Ask her" Steve shifted to Jessi.
"Me?" She echoed. Everyone now had eyes on her.
"Yeah" Steve crossed his arms, knowing full well what he was doing. He knew that this was a chance for her to display leadership skills, to build on the qualities that she already has. To show courage "You brought us all here, Scott, Bruce, Tony" he listed off "What do you think we should do first, Jes?"
"She can't even play Uno, and you're asking her a question like that?" Another rugged voice called out from nowhere. Jessi turned her head towards the doors to see Rocket entering the large laboratory, his paws laced together behind his furry head.
"Is that a... a Racoon?" Scott whispered to Nat.
"Rocky Road!" Jessi greeted happily with yet another nickname, bending down to give him a high-five. He hit his paw against her palm lazily "Back from space so soon?"
Scott stared dumbfounded "thats... a Raccoon"
"Jessi?" Steve got her attention again.
Jessi stood back up and shoved her hands into her jacket pockets, looking at each of their faces as she thought to herself "Well, if- if we're going to do this, then we need everyone" she stated, nodding her head "everyone" she repeated, specifically towards Natasha who agreed as well. Even the ones who had fallen off into the deep end, they deserve this opportunity too. "We started all of this together, and we'll will end it that way too"
"Barton, and Thor" Bruce thought to himself.
"I can get Barton" Nat offered.
"And I'll get Thor" Bruce walked around from behind the computers to join the circle.
"I'll go with you" Jessi told the Hulk "I've always wanted to see New Asgard-"
"Wait-wait wait, what? No" Tony said sharply, swiftly cutting her off. She raised her eyebrows up at her father. He shook his hands back and fourth "No way am I letting you go to space, not now, not after-"
"Dad, New Asgard isn't in space" Jessi assured, stepping towards him.
"Tony, After Asgard was destroyed five years ago... and after Thanos attacked the Asguardian ship that I was on, it left the remainder of the Asguardians homeless" Doctor Banner explained, adjusting his black-rimmed glasses "So they settled out in Norway. That's where Thor is now"
