"I told you, Rogers!" Thor yelled out proudly.
The demigod had always had this silent gut feeling about her ability to hold the hammer. She'd been worthy all her life, and today was the day she decided to let it in. The power of Thor now flowed through her. Steve picked up his shield that had been knocked to the ground by Thanos and squinted his blue eyes to try and make sense of what he was looking at. She stood a few feet away from him, gripping the godly weapon in her iron fingers.
Jessi had delivered a handful of well-aimed blows to the Titan's head with the hammer, and hardly broke a sweat under the helmet of her Ironman suit. She felt the power that the weapon possessed, and sensed the lightning that was coursing through her very veins at that moment. Tony dropped down next to his daughter and readied his next plasma attack "so, I suppose this means you rule Asgard?" he asked, igniting the repulsers on his iron palms "how long has this been a thing?!"
"Oh, you know...." she thought back to earlier that very same day when the team traveled back in time to New York City, and she witnessed the younger version of herself pick up the hammer at Stark Tower "... awhile" she muttered as Thanos prepared to charge again. He swung his massive double-edge sword at the pair, and kicked Tony out of the way, who fought back relentlessly. Jessi raised the hammer up towards the grey clouds to collect a bolt of lightening, but that left her core exposed. Thanos shoved the sword against her stomach and sent her tumbling back. The hammer dropped to the dirt.
She slid against the ground at the sudden hit, and gritted her teeth in anger as she quickly rolled back over to her hands and knees. A tall shadow towered over her, raising up his sword in preparation to slash her once again. Steve leapt in from out of nowhere and jumped on his back, proceeding to wrap his muscular arms around the Titan's neck in order to pull him away. Jessi scrambled out of the way as Thanos flipped the Captain over his shoulders and smashed him onto the ground. Jessi gasped in shock at the aggression and raised up her balled fist, allowing for a rocket to appear from within the armor on her wrist. It fired and connected with Thanos, exploding on his arm. Unfortunately, the rocket hardly had any affect on him.
Jessi ran to help Steve off from the ground, but Thanos gripped her tightly around the arm and threw her out of the way as if she weighed nothing at all. It's four against one, and yet he still appears to have total control of everyone. She found herself rolling in the debris once again. Her body ground to a halt roughly with dirt spraying up around her "no!" she snapped furiously, slamming her bald up fist into the ground and shooting back up to her feet. Mjölnir returned into her grasp. Thanos had just delivered a devastating punch to Thor's face, knocking him out for a moment.
She flew forward using the thrusters in her feet, and readying the hammer over her head. As she neared the monster, he sensed her approaching quick and glanced over his shoulder. She brought the weapon down onto his exposed head, but he spun and caught her arm and halted the attack with the hammer an inch away from his skin. The blood drained from her face when he gripped her faceplate and ripped the armor away, revealing her face "the one that closed the portal" he realized slowly, looking into her eyes.
His fingers tightened around her arm and he drove his knee into her stomach. Saliva spewed from her lips. Even through the armor, she could feel it. He tossed her again behind him, and her head collided with a jagged piece of broken medal "Iron Man was his favorite..." a small voice whimpered in Jessi's ear as her vision began to grow blurry from the burning cut over her eye. The echoey voice was solely in her head "and he always knew that you guys were out there to protect us, no matter what" It was Kimmy, her first ever best friend "You are his hero, all of you. So please, whatever you do, do it for him. Save him, save our world"
