You were taking one of your many walks around New York trying to clear your mind with the night air. You were walking and you bumped into someone.
"I'm sorry."
You said.
"Same, no worries."
The man said.
You looked and recognized the man as Joe Jonas.
"Oh, your Joe Jonas."
You said with little to no enthusiasm.
"That's me. Do you wanna picture?"
He asked.
"Um, no thanks. Your just another human in my eyes. Have a good night."
You said walking off.
Joe was stunned he never met someone who treated him as a normal person and blunt like that, He had to get to know you.
"Hey, wait!"
He yelled chasing after you.
You stopped and looked back.
"Yeah?"
You asked unsure.
"Uh, um can I walk with you?"
He asked.
"Um, why?"
You asked feeling small for some reason.
"You seem interesting and I wanna get to know you."
He answered honestly.
You were skeptical.
"Um, sure?"
You said.
"Great."
You began walking with Joe beside you.
"How many siblings do you have?"
He asked randomly.
"5. 1 sister and 4 brothers. What about you?
You replied knowing the answer already.
"3 brothers."
He replied.
"Nice."
You replied looking over at him.
1 Hour later
You both found yourselves sitting in a 24 hour Starbucks sipping hot chocolate.
You were laughing at a story he told about his brother Kevin and how he hit on a transvestite hooker. You looked down at your phone it was 3 in the morning.
"Shit, I gotta get back home I have a meeting in a couple of hours."
You said grabbing your bag.
"Let me at least walk you home."
He offered.
"Are you sure? I dont wanna get you into any trouble."
You said ready to get up.
"Yeah, I'm free today. So I can walk you home."
He said.
"Okay, let's go."
You said walking out the door.
You began walking towards your house. Neither of you said anything. It was a comfortable silence or maybe the fact that the evening was coming to an end soon was why you both were quiet. As you came out your thoughts you realized he was holding your hand. You looked at him and he looked at you . You turned away shy and he smiled. A few minutes later you arrived outside your home.
"We're here."
You said disappointed.
"I had a lot of fun. Kind of sad its over."
He said looking at you.
"Same."
You said.
"Can I get your number?"
He asked handing you his phone.
You nodded and put in your number.
"Well, bye."
You said.
He pulled you close and kissed you.
"Have a good meeting later."
He said and than walked off smiling like an idiot but so were you.
