You ran out to your motorcycle and sped off towards the fairgrounds. You parked your motorcycle and walked towards the entrance. You pulled out your phone and texted your date. 'Hey, I'm standing by the entrance in a gray shirt and white converse.☺️.' A few seconds later a woman wearing mostly black walked up to you. "Hey, y/n?" She asked. You were completely smitten when you saw her. "Uh, yeah. I'm y/n and your Ruby, right?" You managed to get out. "Yeah. You ready to go in?" She asked smiling. You nodded finally calming yourself. You began to walk away but lost sight of Ruby until she grabbed your hand. "I don't want you get snatched up." She joked smiling. 'Marry me.' You thought or so you thought. "Let's see how this goes first." She said smirking. And you slapped yourself and pushed yourself off a bridge mentally. "2 braclets please." You said speaking up to the lady at the window. "20 dollar please." You pulled out a 20 dollar bill and handed it to the lady. You thanked the lady and took the bracelets from her and you and Ruby put them on each other. "Sorry for being so quiet. I'm just really nervous." You admitted to her. "Its cool. I understand. Just put the nervousness behind and have a good time." She smiled. Any nervousness you had left your body.
"So where are you from?" You asked leading her to the first ride you wanted to get on.
"Australia. Home of the koalas and kangaroos.(RIP)" She said joking at the end. "Ta da! The enterprise. The only ride that made me almost throw up. At least a little in my mouth." You said laughing. You ran up and got in the ride and Ruby got in behind you. You held on the bar in front of you and she held on to you. The nervousness came back. The ride started and you became giddy. You began spinning. You dont know if it was the motion sickness kicking in or just purely your attraction to her. You were brazen enough to rub your butt against her crotch and you met her officially 20 minutes ago. But she held you still as if warning you. A few minutes later the ride came to a stop. You stepped out and Ruby followed. "Let's ride that." Ruby pointed to a ride that put two people in a facing each other. You visibly gulped and Ruby smirked. She grabbed your hand going towards the ride. You both climbed in the ride looking at each other. You looked in her eyes and she could've brought you to your knees if she really wanted to and she knew she could. The ride started and you closed your eyes using it as a excuse not to looking her eyes. You felt her hand on your stomach before moving to the right side and leaving your body all together. You opened your eyes and she smirked. You smiled teasingly. Again the ride came to a stop. You both got out walked together with no target in mind. "You like what you felt?" You asked brazenly. "Yes,absolutely." She replied never hesitating.
FEW HOURS LATER "So you threw up on a lady who called you the n word?" Ruby asked holding back laughter. "Yes! I ate a lot of food and the first ride we got on I rode it and she happen to be outside the ride and I did it." You said laughing and Ruby busted out laughing. "Your story is way funnier tbh." You said sipping your sprite. "Getting punched by a kangaroo? Nah" Ruby said and you smiled laughing a little. "I've had so much fun today. I cant believe it's almost over." You said with some sadness. Comfortable quietness linger between the two of you before ruby spoke again. "Let's ride the ferris wheel." Ruby suggested. You nodded and she grabbed your hand like it was the most natural thing on earth. You were in line when a group of rowdy college guys stood behind you. For the ferris wheel. "Hey, guys. Look at this." You heard behind you. Neither of you looked back and continued talking to Ruby about the ongoing crisis in Australia. "Hey, lesbos!" One guy shouted. Ruby turn around. "Yeah?" She answered menacingly pushing you behind her. The guys walked away as if they recognized Ruby. "Shall we?" She asked gesturing to the seat you got in and sat down in awe of what just happened. The ferris wheel began to move. "I had beat up three guys in a similar situation and I guess that followed me ever since. Small world I guess." She said answering your lingering thought.
You pulled Ruby by her shirt collar into a heated kiss not being able to wait anymore. It's cliche to say you felt sparks but you did and you loved the feeling. You pulled away begrudgingly.
