You zipped up your suitcase. And began packing your fiance of 3 days suitcase.
"Is this it? I don't want you forgetting anything like when we went to Florida."
You reminded him.
"No, that's it."
He said.
"Wait."
He ran and got 3 beanies out the closet. You rolled your eyes.
"You love it,Ko'u Aloha. (My love)"
He said.
You zipped up the suitcase and began to carry them to the front door.
"Hell no, are you crazy? Your pregnant."
He overreacted.
You blinked at him.
"Its fine babe. I'll just roll it then."
You said pulling out each handle.
"No, I'll carry them for you."
He said grabbing them quickly and taking them downstairs. You laid in bed looking at a random episode of the office.
Your dogs TJ and PJ climbed in bed cuddled against your stomach.
"Babe, what time is the flight tomorrow?"
Jason asked walking into see you laying down.
"6:00am."
You said looking at the TV.
Jason climbed in bed next to you pushing PJ and TJ out the way so he could be next to you.
"You okay?"
He asked leaning his head on his hand.
You nodded.
"Yeah, just tired and thinking."
You said cutting your eyes over to him.
He started doing smal circles with his hand on your back.
"Ko'u Aloha, everything is fine. Your parents will love me just like I love you."
He said. You used his back to scoot closer to him. You rested your face in his chest taking in his scent. And eventually falling asleep like a baby.
GEORGIA
You had landed in Georgia and headed straight for your parents house. You took a deep breath as you sat in the driveway of your childhood home.
You got out and Jason came around to take your hand. You both wordlessly walked up to the door and knocked. The point of no return. Your mom opened the door and hugged you.
"Hey, baby! I've missed you."
She squeezed you hard.
"I've missed you, too."
You said pulling away.
"And you are?"
She asked turning her attention to Jason.
"I'm Jason, her fiance."
He said and your stomach did 4 backflips.
"Oh, nice to meet you, hon. I haven't heard anything about you."
Your mom said looking at you.
"Well, come in. You'll be sleeping in y/n's room."
She said as you came in behind her and shut the door.
"Where's daddy?"
You asked.
"Out back somewhere in the shed working on that damn car."
She said walking away.
"We're going to go to my room, mama."
You said guiding Jason up the stairs.
"Ok, hon."
She yelled.
You made it to your room and you shut the door. You looked up at Jason and he had a unreadable expression.
"You didn't tell your parents about me?"
He asked.
You broke his gaze out of guilt.
"No, I wanted them to meet you. Not the man they see on TV."
You said picking up a picture of you and your old best friend.
It went quiet. Jason wasn't one to argue. He wrapped his hands you resting them on your belly.
"I'm sorry."
You said putting the picture down and turned around to look at him.
"It's okay, babe."
He said and you relaxed. You heard the front door open and you heard several footsteps head to the kitchen.
"Well, my brothers and their wives are here. Let's get this over with and get our suitcases out the car."
He chuckled. You grabbed his hand and guided to the kitchen.
"Hey boys!"
You yelled. And your 2 brothers turned your way including their wives.
"You brought Aquaman home?"
Your older brother, Jamal asked. You didn't answer but smirked.
"Alexis."
You said shortly.
She gave you a dirty look.
"Or I can beat your ass again."
You bucked up to her and Jason stopped you by wrapping his arm around your shoulder.
