"Come over and bring a controller. You broke mine last time."
Henry said in the phone as you packed to spend the weekend at your friend's house.
"It was an accident drama queen."
You said carry the bag to the front door.
"You threw it in a fit of rage."
He said in a matter of fact tone.
"Want me to pick up some food?"
You asked changing the subject and putting your shoes.
"Pizza and hamburgers?"
He asked.
"You got it. I'll see you in a bit."
You hung up and grabbed the bag and rushed to your car.
45 MINS LATER
You pulled outside the ridiculously huge mansion and honked the horn.
You got out grabbing your bag and put it on your shoulders. Henry rushed out with no shirt on and hugged you.
"I've missed you. "
He whispered Kissing your forehead.
"Well you are superman."
You said pulling away and gesturing to your shirt.
"Such a nerd."
He said smiling widely.
"You love it grab the food please."
You said locking your car. Henry grabbed the food and you followed him in and into the kitchen. You quickly opened the box of pizza and took a slice.
"What you been up to?"
Henry asked taking a bite of his burger.
"Streaming, gaming the usual. Missing you a lot."
You said fake pouting.
"I have a small break before I film The Witcher. How about you come with me to the red carpet for it?"
Henry suggested.
You nodded and wiped your hands.
"Okay. I'm gonna get set up in the game room."
You said slowly.
He nodded. You walked upstairs towards the room. You opened the door and you could tell nothing had change. You had set your console on the tv you had used the most. You sat your bag of clothes by the door.
You sat in your usual gaming chair and waited for Henry to come in. You were lost in thought when Henry came in. He waved his hand in front of your face several times before you came back to reality.
"What were you thing about?"
He asked sitting beside you in the other chair.
"Oh, nothing. Waiting for you."
You said looking at your phone. He grabbed his controller and you admired the side of his face. You looked at the screen when he came up. Your phone vibrated and it was a fellow streamer wanting to stream. You replied you couldn't because you weren't at your computer.
Henry was already loading into Apex Legends when you looked up from your phone.
"In a rush ,are we?"
You asked laughing a little.
"I haven't played in months."
You laughed at his reaction as he gave a sad face.
You finally got loaded in and party up.
5 HOURS LATER (it be like that...)
It was 15 minutes to midnight and you were honestly tired.
"I'm tired. Im gonna go lay down."
You said getting up and grabbing your bag.
You made your way to the bedroom and went into the bathroom quickly changing into your pajamas.
You came back into the bedroom and saw Henry laying back watching Tv. You sat beside Henry watching the random episode of grey's anatomy on the tv.
"I got you something."
Henry said getting something from out of the night stand. You looked at him unsure of why he got it.
"I missed your birthday and I could make it back home from filming. And I was gonna give it to you earlier but I really wanted to play with you."
You laughed.
You opened the small rectangle box and it revealed the superman symbol with yours and his initials on the back along with the date you met. You smiled and hugged him.
"Thank you. I love it so much."
"Hold on a second."
Henry got up and ran out the room. A few minutes later a German shepherd puppy came running into the room and you climbed out the bed.
You picked him up rubbing his head.
"You're so cute."
You realized something was on his collar.
You took of his collar and read the note.
"From the moment I met you, you have challenge me, inspired me, believed in me, and loved me. For years I have been working up the courage to ask you this. Will you be my girlfriend?"
Henry walked in nervousness written on his face.
"Is this for real?"
You asked as if your dreaming the moment.
"Yeah, it is."
You walked to your bag and grabbed something out of it and handed to Henry.
"You beat me to it but I was gonna ask today too."
You said sheepishly.
He opened the case and revealing 2 matching bracelets with today's date on it.
"Will you be my boyfriend ?"
He lifts you and crushes your lips with his you wrapped your arms around his neck to deepen the kiss. You pull away and he puts you back on the ground. You bend down to pick your new baby up.
"So I take it that's it's a yes?'
