Ballistic

I drove to my apartment, tears running down my face. I was so tired so I didn't bother going to get JJ.

Jessie  kept calling and texting my phone constantly, but I didn't respond.

I just sat there and cried myself to sleep.

I woke up the next morning with a horrible headache. I looked terrible. I went to the house phone, because I had a bunch of voice mails on the answer machine.

5 of them were from Jessie, Kelly left a message saying she was coming over later in the afternoon.

I came across this one saying the results were in and my appointment changed from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. It was 10:15 in the morning and I really had to hurry.

I took a shower, did my hair, brushed my teeth, and put on my clothes.

I grabbed an apple because that's the only thing I saw and I had to hurry.

I ran out the door into my car and made my way to my appointment.

"Hi, Ms Richardson, you can make your way to the first door on your left."

"Thanks", I said as I made my way to the door. I was shocked once I saw his face.

"Alana"

"Why the hell are you doing here"

"Look Alana just here me out"

"Look this is not the time or the place. So I would like for you to leave."

"I can't do that"

"If he's my child I would want to know"

"Fine"

The lady comes in with the results in her hand.

Jessie tries to intertwine our fingers, but I snatched away from him and gave him a death glare.

"Ok, Mr. Collins and Ms. Richardson looks like we have one more person who will be joining us."

I turn my head to see Ty pulling up a chair.

"Hi, Alana", he said.

I didn't say anything. I was anxious to get the results over with.

"Ok the child, Jessie Jr.,is 99.99% blood of Jessie Collins."

I was relieved even though I was pissed at Jessie.

"Thank you so much", I said to the woman as I gathered my things and the results and left out the door.

"Alana, wait", Jessie ran after me.

"What, what do you want. He's yours isn't he. You got what you wanted."

"No I didn't. I want for us to be a family."

"Gosh, Jessie you really don't get it. I love you and you don't realize that, but I can't do this anymore.", I said as I entered the car, but he put his foot and stopped me.

"Alana I almost lost you once and I'm not gonna lose you again." Baby I love you and I know how many times I have said that to you, I can't live without you. I know I do some stupid things."

"You think"

"I know, I know, but I'm trying to get my life together."

"I was so nervous about the results, I just didn't know what to do. So Corey persuaded me to go to the party. I didn't tell you because I thought you would get upset"

"Why would you listen to Corey. He doesn't even have his life together. You should've told me no matter how I would've reacted. Talking about getting married. How can we get married and I can't trust you."
