Around Christmas and Jake

It's almost Christmas time and Jessie and I had started planning for JJ's very first Christmas. The weather was really snowy and now the snow was getting kind of thick.

"Alana are you finished?", Jessie asked.

"Yes I am are you?", I asked him

"Yes"

We both jumped out of our seats because we finally caught up with our school assignments.

"Now all we have to do is finish the semester", I announced.

"Jessie , did you get the mail today?", I questioned him.

"Its pretty late, but I'm going to go get it now.", he said as he exited the door.

"Alana we got the pictures", Jessie said as he entered the house.

"Well open them let me see how they look.", I said anxiously.

The pictures were so adorable. JJ looked like an angle in his pictures. I decided to frame one of the pictures and take it to work to be placed in my booth and the others of JJ we we're going to create an ornament to go on the tree.

It was Friday night and Christmas day is Wednesday. I had just got off of work and it was time for Jessie to start his shift. I kept the baby until it was time for my Saturday morning shift to start.

JJ was growing by the day, he's starting to crawl and that means he can get into everything, so later we were going to baby proof the apartment.

He hasn't said a complete word yet but he's getting there. I'm trying to get his first word to be mommy and Jessie's wants it to be daddy.

"Ok, time to go night night bud. Can you say MOMMY before you go to sleep", I joked as I picked JJ up and started to rock him to sleep.

After I put him to sleep, I cleaned the house, then I decided to take a nap before I started my shift. Jessie ends his at 5:00am. and I start mines at 6:00am.

I was awoken by Jessie knocking on the door. I opened the door and went to go change into my work clothes.

"Jessie I'm leaving now, love you."

"Ok see you later babe love you too.", he whispered.

I went to go kiss the baby good bye and then I headed to work.

"Hey Lana", Kirby said as I entered my booth.

"Hey, Kirby, how are you "

"I'm doing ok."

Kirby and I started to have an interesting conversation. She told me a lot of things I never knew about her, like she gave her baby up for adoption when she was 16. We were interrupted when Silvia called me to her office. As I entered I saw a guy, he was sexy, looked about 18, nice body, blue eyes, pretty course brown hair and about 6 ft or over. Our eyes made contact as soon as I entered.

"Hi Alana good to see you today"

"Hi good to see you too."

"This is Jake and he's my new worker for level 1. He is replacing Ken from the massage therapy."

This time around we had many customers in and out of the spa, so we had tons of business.

"Hi Jake nice to meet you. I'm Alana.", I greeted him politely.

"Nice to meet you too.", I watched him as he observed me.

"Alana you will be giving him a tour of what he is expected to do."

I basically knew the whole spa. I was a fast worker, so I wouldn't just work in the nail salon. I was guided and learned how to work every level and how things operate. So I wasn't surprised when Silvia wanted me to help the newbies.
