Alana was in a coma no one new how long it would take her to come out of the coma. So I supported her every step of the way. I knew I had to get justice for Alana even if she couldn't do it herself. There were relatives coming in and out through the day dropping off flowers for her.

KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK, someone was knocking on the door.

"Visiting hours are over"

"Jessie is that you"

"Ms. Richardson"

"Yes it's me let me in"

"I can't do that"

"Just let me in. I just want to see my daughter."

That was weird that she'd say that because she never cared before. I can't stop a mother from seeing their child, so I let her in.

"Thank you so much"

"You're welcome"

She ran and sat beside Alana and she cries her eyes out.

"Baby I'm so sorry. I've been a horrible mother to you and you deserve better. Please just stay with us. I know you can pull out of this coma. I love you honey", she said then she kissed Alana on the forehead.

"Jessie can I talk to you for a second", she asked me.

"Sure"

"You're a good guy and you take good care of my daughter. You know I've been clean for a while. I'm in a program for drug abusers and alcoholics. I'm doing very well. Jessie I would like for you to do something for me.

"Ma'am"

"Take care of my grandchild"

"Yes ma'am"

She leaves out of the room and two detectives come in the door.

"Hey, how are you sir"

"I'm doing good, what's this about"

"The report you sent us, we would like to ask you a couple of questions"

We step out of the room and head down to the conference room.

"Well you say this man first name is Ty."

"Yes sir"

"What's his last name"

"Ty Shaun Clarkson, he 6ft tall, hazel eyes, deep voice, and light skin complexion, and he drives a yellow mustang."

"Ok we did a line up for Alana."

"Sir no disrespect but you saw she was in a coma. I can do the line up for you."

We drove up to the police station to do the line up.

"Now we have 10 men up there, now you tell me which one of these men is Ty."

"Number 4"

"Bring # 4 to the back room please."

"Well Mr. Ty Clarkson, tell me do you know anything about this girl.", he slams a picture of Alana down.

"Yeah, that was my ex daughter"

"Well you do no she's hospitalized, right?"

"No, no sir I didn't know"

"Don't play games with me. You forced her to have sex with you multiple times."

"It was all consensual sex"

"Why would a daughter have sex with her mother's boyfriend"

"Because she's a slut"

"So now she's a slut because she wouldn't have sex with you"

"I'm not saying it like that"

"You could go away for a very long time for attempted murder"

"What? I never tried to kill anyone"

"Yes you did. You tried to kill her baby because it wasn't yours."

"I don't know what you're talking about"

I was fed up. I heard every lie that he was saying, so I ran in the room and I just went physically crazy on Ty.

"You bastard , you tried to kill my girl and my baby. You drove her to suicide"

"Jessie STOP."

The detectives restrain me.

"Get off me man. He's lying and he's gonna get away with it"

"Mr. Clarkson you're free to go."

"Thank you detectives. Tell your girl I said hi Jessie."

I went to go after him but they stopped me, I was furious.

"Jessie calm down. We have no evidence or witnesses that could help us with this case."

"My girl can help us"

"No she can't. She's in a coma."

"I have faith in her and she will get justice, have a nice day detectives."

"Wait a minute. Here's a card call us when you have a something"

"Sure"

3 months went on and Alana hasn't woke up yet. The baby has been doing fine, he's looking more and more like Alana by the day, but still has some of my features. I'm just waiting for her to wake up. Her birthday is tomorrow. So I'm going to buy her something special at K Jewels. I ran into Cassidy at the cash register and had to ask her to come help us put Ty away for good.

"Cassidy I need you to come testify against Ty for what he did to you"

"No I just want to put this all pass me"

"Come on you have to help us"

"No Jessie, just leave me alone", she yelled, then she ran out the door.

I felt like I had no help from any one. I bought Alana some earrings and a necklace, both real silver. I hoped she'd wake up before tomorrow, but I knew it was impossible.

I decided to go back to the hospital to pack up the clothes and get some more. The baby decided to tag along with me, so I brought him along. I had a big surprise for her when she wakes up.

"Hey little Jessie. Are you ready for mommy to wake up", the baby just smiled at me.

The phone rang from the hospital. I knew this could be good or bad news.

"Mr. Johnson we need you up here immediately. Alana has awoken......
