D A N T E

When I pull up in front of Club Neon, I immediately spot Jared standing out front near the entrance. He'd called me earlier asking if I wanted to join him in assisting the Black Cat with her mission.

Apparently she's got a mark she has to take care of and needed Jared as a distraction in case the bosses henchmen try to intervene. As I walk across the street, with Jax and Mickey in tow, I muffle a laugh as I spectate Jared as he bounces in place with excitement, ready to get in on the action. I know he's ecstatic to be helping her out. He's turned into a bonafide fan boy of the Black Cat.

"You guys ready?" he asks with enthusiasm.

"As ready as I'll ever be. Who's the mark again?" I ask as we make our way through the front door. Thankfully we didn't have to wait in line like everyone else since Jared was able to use his badge to enter. Must be nice using that perk. I wonder how the Black Cat got in?

"Umm I'm not sure. She only said it was the owner of this club. Said he was a bad guy that needed to be taken care of, per a clients request," he laughs with a shake of his head.

"Wait so you don't even know who she's hitting, and you just willingly went a long with it?" Jax asks perplexed.

"Well yeah. She hasn't given me a reason not to trust her. If she says he's bad, then I believe her," he looks down at Jax with absolute certainty.

Jared turns towards the center of the club and his eyes widen before he does a quick nod. When he elbows me in the side and points towards the elevator, I follow his gaze as a black figure makes their way into the stairwell.

"That's her. She's making her move," he grins.

"How do you know that's her?" Mickey asks, trying to look over people to see where he was pointing at.

"Could tell by the build it was a woman. She was wearing all black and I could see a hint of blonde hair under her hood," he nods as he glances around the room.

We make our way to the bar that's centered in the middle of the room, giving all three of us a good vantage point. When I sit down, a couple of girls walk up and trace my body hungrily. I smirk at them and look away. I'm not interested in the least.

I hear them talking amongst themselves and their gloating about the possibility of catching the owners eye. Apparently he told their friend earlier that he had leads in the modeling industry and was interested in all three of them. I silently laugh at that. As a man myself, I know he's full of shit and is using that as a way to get under their skirts.
