D A N T E

There's only one thing on my mind when I peel out of the driveway. Get Joseph and Skye back safely. Kat would never forgive me if I didn't. I left Kat on the porch knowing she'd be safe. Kyle is there with her since Mickey is in the front seat with me and Jax is right along side of me on his motorcycle.

I follow closely behind the white van as it begins to make its way towards the freeway and away from downtown Los Angeles. It darts and weaves within traffic and I follow closely behind. I know my car is much faster than it but I need to distract them long enough for Jax to get in there. Suddenly the back door of the van swings open and I can see Joseph and Skye in the back. The two men that open the door pull out Uzi's and shoot towards my car, barely hitting it as I swerve out of the way of their shots.

When they aim at Jax on his motorcycle, I begin to worry. The shots won't kill him but it'll slow him down and I need him to be able to get into the van and get Joseph and Skye to safety. Shit. I have to do something.

As they raise their guns, they're taken out by something flying through the air fast and landing in their throats. I hear the rev of a motorcycle next to me that isn't Jax. It's way too loud and powerful to be his. I look over and would recognize that tempting body anywhere. Yeah except that night at the club you idiot. Hey in my defense, how could I have known when I thought she was dead?

Kat drives up next to me and revs her engine up, speeding ahead of me. The van swerves towards her causing her to slow down and avoid driving into the back of a car. She narrowly misses it and I begin to get severely pissed at this driver. Not only is he driving recklessly with my son in the car but now he's trying to take out the woman I love. I rev my car up and hit the back bumper causing the van to jerk a bit. Kat slows down severely and comes around to the other side of me, next to Jax. She motions towards Jax to come around to the side. As Jax drives forward, the sound of more motorcycles come screaming up from behind.

They pull out uzi's as well and begin shooting at the three of us. Kat looks behind her quickly as she reaches into her side pack on her thigh and grabs three ninja stars, sitting them between her fingers. She looks at me and nods her head. Before I can tell her it's a bad idea, she breaks hard and I go flying past her. I look in my rear view mirror and notice the three other motorcyclist buzz past her and continue following Jax and myself.

She revs her engine and is back on our tail in no time. The other guys notice and begin to shoot back at her. Being the protective boyfriend that I am, I swerve into them and knock one them off their bike. One down, two to go.

"Holy shit man!" Mickey calls out and continues to look behind us at Kat. Jax is still ahead trying to get a better vantage point of the van. The van turns off onto a ramp that is leading us towards the mountains and I can see the forest on the right side of us. They're trying desperately to get rid of us, or maybe to lure us somewhere. Either way, I'm not backing down.

The other two come up to us and when they pull their guns on us, they don't notice Kat slide right behind the two of them and quickly toss her throwing stars into their tires, causing them to flip over. Kat revs her engine hard, causing her to wheelie up and is closing in on the van. The van notices and suddenly breaks. Within a split second Kat is forced to flip off her bike. I maneuver my car just in time to catch her on the hood of it. She hits it hard and manages to grab a hold of the edge of the hood near my dash before she slides off.
