The Aspects are the core elements of the Homestuck universe that make up the reality that surrounds us. The aspects were inspired by Aeons Gnosticism, which is the ideology that the universe is made up of idea gods that comes in pairs and create the universe we live in.
The aspects of Homestuck also come in pairs of two, where the pairs are usually connected by a common denominator, such as how we present ourselves to the world, or how we react to problems.
There are twelve canon aspects in the Homestuck universe: Time, Space, Heart, Mind, Hope, Rage, Light, Void, Breath, Blood, Life and Doom. Each of them play a vital role in our lives. While classpecting characters may be easy, classpecting ourselves is a difficult challenge, simply because we can relate to all these aspects at some point in our lives. Humans are incredibly complex, and thus it is possible we will never remain with the same classpect for long. As an example, I used to think of myself as a Witch of Light before I became a Rouge of Mind. Even now, I sometimes find myself wondering if I could be a Bard of Heart, which is entirely possible.
In the following 12 chapters, we will be discussing each of the aspects in full detail, as well as an overview of the assigned players' potential personalities and the possible abilities that come with their aspect. We will also match them with an Active/Passive alignment, and a dreaming moon, both of which will be discussed at a later time. Just know that the Active/Passive alignment and dreaming moon isnt a strict one, and is merely to show what the aspect leans towards.
