Kelsey
Today Martin and I are getting married. Mom and Dad reserved a small venue with a minister, and Mom helped me get ready while Martin dressed and left early. I sat in a chair in front of my vanity as Mom applied light makeup to me.
Mom finished, then fixed my hair, pinning it up on top of my head. Once she finished, I looked in the mirror and smiled.
"Kelsey, you look beautiful," Mom complimented me.
"I feel beautiful," I responded as Mom smiled at me.
Mom sat down on the side of the bed as I turned in my chair.
"Are you okay?" I asked her.
"Yeah, it's hard to see your child grow up and get married. I know we got you when you were ten, but for eight years, I had the chance to be your mom." I watched as Mom wipes her eyes.
"Well, for eight years, I got to have an amazing mom," I replied as I smiled, which made her smile. It was true. Rose is my mom. She did everything a mom does and more. She and Baxter might be my uncle and aunt biologically, but they turned into my parents the minute they came and got me. They will always be my heroes.
I finished getting ready, and we went downstairs to find Dad waiting. My parents and I walked out to the limo in front of the house and got inside; then the driver took us to the venue. I was nervous and excited. I was excited because Martin and I would be married and nervous because it would be the first time having sex after the surgery.
We arrived at the venue and got out of the car, walking to a specific area. Mom took her seat, and the music started as Dad escorted me to Martin, who was standing by the minister as people watched. We strolled to the front as Martin looked at me dressed in a black suit, button-up shirt, and black tie. We kept it simple.
Once we reached the front, Dad handed me over to Martin, who took my hand in his. We turned to face the minister as the wedding began. It was a simple wedding along with the vows. I didn't need to make a grand statement in how I felt about Martin. He knew how I felt about him.
When the minister pronounced us man and wife, Martin pulled me into a kiss, deepening it as everyone clapped. My dad whistled as we laughed against each other's lips. Martin led me down the aisle hand in hand as we found our seat where dinner held. I couldn't be happier than I am at that moment.

MartinKelsey and I sat at a table with her parents, who are now my parents while the other guests sat at different tables. We had fifty people at the wedding, which was excellent. No one from my family showed, which didn't bother me. I prefer them not to come. The only ones I wanted there was my parents.
Baxter clangs his glass, getting everyone's attention.
"Excuse me, I wanted to say a few words to my daughter and son-in-law," Baxter started to say as we all looked at him. "As parents, we pray our child finds someone who will love them as much as we do. We hope that they will respect and honor them. Rose and I became parents to Kelsey in an untraditional way. We weren't able to have children of our own, so we took in a child that needed us as much as we needed her. Kelsey brought us love and joy, which we treasure every day. Martin, I hope you can return the same gift we received from to Kelsey during your marriage. Take care of our daughter. To Martin and Kelsey," Baxter toasted as everyone raised their glass to toast us.
The people served dinner, and we ate as we talked. Kelsey is leaving for basic training in a week and gone for eight weeks. I would stay with Baxter and Rose until she finished, then joined her in military housing. If the military deploys her, I would return and find a place. Where she goes, I go.
We finished dinner and got up to dance. I held Kelsey close to me as the song Glory Of Love played. The song fits us, and that's why we chose it for our first dance as husband and wife.
Kelsey looked at me as I looked back at her. "Who would have thought getting paired on an assignment together would lead to this?" She asked me.
"I didn't, but I'm glad. It brought you to me," I told Kelsey.
Kelsey smiled, and her smile lit up a room. It was the one feature I adored about her. We danced as I held her close to me. When we finished our first dance, everyone else joined in with us. Both of us had a great time celebrating the day together. I love my wife more than anything.

KelseyMartin and I left the venue and made our way to the hotel; he had a room booked there. We wanted to spend our first night married alone. We checked in and went up to the room. He opened the door and flicked on the light, revealing balloons and a banner that said congratulations.
I smiled at the sight. Martin didn't waste any time with me as he pulled me to him, and we quickly removed our clothes. I was nervous about having sex with him, but he took his time and was gentle with me, like the first time. Martin made love to me as I got lost in the moment.
It was the first time we had sex since my surgery and felt different. It was a good different. I could feel the pleasure as Martin thrust inside of me, hitting my nerve endings and rubbing against the tiny fold created for bliss. It didn't take long before I moaned, feeling my release as he did the same.
Afterward, we stayed in bed as I lay on top of his chest.
"That was way better than the first time with you," Martin mentioned as I shook my head and he chuckled.
"Well, we could have waited, but someone got excitable," I reminded him as he looked at me and I looked at him, smirking.
"Because I love you and wanted to be with you," Martin said.
"Well, now you can be with me the right way. The other hole is exit only," I informed him.
"Noted," he said as he pulled to me him and kissed me. He rolled me onto my back and made love to me again. I enjoy this way better.
