Okay, I know I should listen to my friends and regret not doing so. I went out with Sylvia. It was okay, but I kept it simple. She not so much when she tried to jump me in the car. I had to push her off of me and get out of the vehicle.

Sylvia tried to talk me into going; further, I politely declined and told her I was feeling ill. That's all it took when she told me to take her home. Okay, I told her I was going to puke. It was a valid excuse, and she bought it.

I came home, told my parents who looked at me weirdly, then I called Jose and Linc. They came over and hung out with me.

"We warned you," Linc told me.

"You didn't listen," Jose added.

"I'm trying to be nice," I said. My friends both rolled their eyes.

"Angel, being nice gets you on a date with Slutty Sue," Linc reminded me. I sighed.

"All I want is someone that understands me. The girls at school aren't it," I said as I sat down.

"Maybe she will stroll through the doors, and you will run off into the sunset together," Jose commented as Linc laughed. These two were no help. I wanted to date someone I felt a connection with, not someone trying to jump me.

I dated girls at school, but they all lacked. Something was missing with them. I had a feeling tomorrow would change my life.

Jordyn

We settled into the new house, and I felt dread. That's because tomorrow I was going to a new school with people I don't know. I sighed. I had no idea how to make friends and no clue how the people would be there. Dad assured me it would be fine. I assured him he was crazy.

I went to bed with the hopes tomorrow wouldn't suck. Hopefully, I can get through senior year invisible.

I woke up the next day and got ready. I looked in the mirror. "Okay, Jordyn, you can do this. Go into school and don't be a freak," I said to myself in the mirror. Yeah, I was psyching myself up. I came downstairs, had breakfast, and Dad took me to school. He wished me luck as I got out of the car. Yeah, I'm going to need luck as I looked at everyone who knew each other for years.

I walked towards the entrance and inside, finding the office. I handed them paperwork as they gave me a schedule along with my locker. I thanked the lady and went to wander around the school aimlessly. I did this with every school.

I managed to find my locker and worked at getting it open; then I looked for my class. I need a map because nothing made sense. I managed to find my level and walked in, handing the teacher my schedule.

Students were already seated as he pointed to an empty seat. I nodded as I went to the place and sat down, not paying attention to who was sitting in the chair next to me. As soon as I got situated, I heard someone say, "Are you new?"

I looked around and wondered who was talking to me until someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned, and my eyes widened as I saw the hottest guy ever sitting next to me.

"Are you new?" The guy asked as I stared at him. I know he wasn't talking to me. No one talks to me.

"What's your name?" He asked me as I gulped.

"Jordyn," I answered, trying to will my lips to move.

"Hi, Jordyn. I'm Angel," he introduced himself as I stared at him, and he smiled at me. I had a feeling senior year was going to be different.

Kelsey

I had a chance to speak to Martin and Jordyn. They got settled in, and Jordyn was starting in her new school. I kept things professional with Master Sargent Forbes after I offered to shoot off his balls. He kept his distance from me.

A week later, I received a letter from Jordyn's school. They were setting up a program around Christmas to honor Military families and the children of Military parents. They were requesting messages sent to the school for the children and spouses were invited to attend.

I thought about their request as someone came into my barrack and handed me an envelope.

"What's this, Sir?" I asked the 1st Lieutenant.

"It's your papers and discharge date Staff Sargent Hayes," he informed me as I opened the envelope and saw the date. I looked at him, and he said, "Congratulations, Sargent First Class. You will leave here with an honorable discharge for your service," he informed me.

I stood and saluted him as he did it back. When he left, I sat down and wrote a letter to the school. I had a better idea for my family. One that would prove Big Girls Don't Cry, but Love Conquers All for us.

It's the end of Big Girls Don't Cry, but the beginning of Love Conquers All which our and completed, so you don't have to wait.

I hope you enjoyed Kelsey's journey. It was an exciting book to write dealing with the military and transgender. I wanted to explore both and show the aspect of both.

The military was to honor people serving along with families. My family has many veterans from the military branches, and my father had served.

The issue with transgender people in the military is still ongoing, along with different aspects.

Thank you for reading. See you in Love Conquers All.
