Kyungsoo
As I counted down the days until graduation, my anxieties were showing no signs of easing. Instead, they just kept piling up. Kai had become more reckless and had seemingly forgotten about the whole secret part of our relationship. It was nice knowing that us being together meant that much to him, but at the same time, it scared me and not just because of what it could mean for our relationship.
"So what are you doing now?" Kai asked me once we parted ways with Chanyeol and Baekhyun after school.
"I'm going home..." I said slowly, not knowing what else he expected me to say.
"Let me ask you again," he said as he let out a brief sigh. "What are you doing now?" I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion at his response.
"Um, I don't know..." I said. "Not going home I guess."
"Close enough, so I'll give it to you," he said with a chuckle. "The full correct answer to that question would be hang out with me, your boyfriend."
"But...your parents."
"I'll tell them I'm studying with Xiumin. They think he's a good influence on me."
I sighed gave him a look of uncertainty. "I don't know, Kai," I said. "I mean, you've been lying to them a lot lately and they will eventually catch on."
"Are you trying to say you don't want to hang out with me?" he questioned in reply, slightly smirking.
"You know I do, but I would like to keep hanging out with you for as long as possible," I said, smiling as well and stepping another foot closer to him. He smiled before he wrapped his hand around mine.
"I know I've been a little rebellious lately, but it's just because I want to spend time with you," he said, his voice coming out slightly whiny. I just exhaled and stared at him as he tried to use his face to convince me.
"You're an ass," I said after a while, making him laugh and clap his hands. "So my house then?"
He smirked and nodded. "You're not welcome in my house remember," he said jokingly and I laughed as we started walking toward my house.
Kai
After convincing Xiumin to cover for me during our little walk, Kyungsoo and I arrived at his house. His parents weren't home, as usual, so I felt like I had nothing to worry about. We did have some homework to do, but he had more than me so after I finished mine, I just laid on his bed and watched him.
I made mental notes of all his great features. His soft, pretty much flawless skin. The way his thin, black strands fell perfectly into place with every movement of his head. His big eyes and how they seemed to be filled with stars judging by the way they sparkled. Even the way he pushed his glasses up every few minutes after they would inevitably slide down. Every tiny detail made me fall even more in love with him than I already had.
About another twenty or so minutes passed and he was still plowing away with his pencil at his desk.
"Soo..." I whined impatiently.
"Hmm?" he hummed without looking over at me, his eyes moving between his notebook and textbook.
"I'm bored."
"Find something to do then."
I sighed, annoyed with all his studiousness. "Kyungsoo."
"What?"
"I'm still bored."
"That sounds like a you problem."
"Come on, I finished all my homework and now I have nothing to do."
"You still have a paper due for history, do you not?"
"But that's not due for like two weeks. I can't start it now." He looked at me with one of those faces a parent gives their child when they are being annoying. "Entertain me," I said with a seductive smirk painted on my face. He cracked a smile, rolled his eyes, and put his attention back on his book.
"Later. I'm almost finished," he said as he went back to writing, making my face fall. I groaned and flipped over on my stomach, groaning into his pillow.
"You're cruel," I mumbled loud enough for him to hear. He just laughed.

Later turned out to only been about ten minutes, but believe me when I say it was the longest ten minutes of my life. We hung for about an hour more after he finally got up from his desk and then he walked with me to the bus stop, waiting until I got on the bus to head back to his house. I got home with plenty of time until dinner and took my shoes off, leaving them by the door.
"I'm home," I said loudly as I walked into the kitchen. My parents had just finished setting the table when I walked inside, so I dropped my stuff in my room and then went to help them.
"How was school?" my dad asked after we did our routine pre-meal pray.
"Fine," I answered simply. "Nothing exciting."
"Did you get all your homework done at Minseok's house?" His questions began to worry me, not that he never asked about my school work, but it definitely made me even more careful with how I approached my response.
"Yeah, most of it. I still have a history paper to start working on, but it's not due for a while." There was a brief silence before he spoke up again and I glanced up briefly to see them looking at each other.
"We know you've been sneaking around with Kyungsoo, Jongin."
My heart stopped beating and sank into the pit of my stomach. I looked at his serious expression.
"What? Now you have people spying on me?" I asked angrily.
"No, Minjun said he's been seeing you two around school." I rolled my eyes and let a frustrated sigh escape my lips. "Why would you still lie to us?"
"Because you wouldn't have exactly let me go if I asked, 'Hey, mom and dad, can I go see my boyfriend?' You really left me with no choice."
He set his elbows on the table and rubbed his face. "Your behavior is a sin," he said, now facing me again.
"You've mentioned that, several times actually," I replied.
He sighed, annoyed, before continuing. "Your mother and I didn't want it to come to this, but seeing as how you want to keep lying to us, we've decided to move you to a private Christian school so that boy won't tempt you anymore. Maybe if you're away from him, you'll see the error of your ways."
"You're joking, right? That boy happens to be the best thing that ever happened to me and I love him," I said in defense. My parents looked at each other, apparently really shocked to hear that.
"It doesn't matter how you feel towards him. You are still going. You have until the end of next month," he said unapologetically. I looked over at my mom and she looked just as cold. I stood up from the table and went to my room, slamming the door shut.
How could they drop a bomb like that? Why couldn't they see that the love between Kyungsoo and I was just like the love between them?
Trying to find out the answers to my parents' close mindedness wasn't my issue now though. They clearly weren't thinking about changing their minds anytime soon. The problem at hand was figuring out how to tell Kyungsoo.
