Hyungwon

I set the frying pan on the table and Kihyun immediately reaches for the eggs, putting into his mouth and he spits out a little. "That's hot!"

"Of course, I just finished cooking it seconds ago, it is not like I cooked it with ice," I told him, taking my seat opposite him.

He strokes his chin. "Hmm, cooking with ice? Eggs with ice sound a little innovative."

I smacked his head with the spoon. "You're crazy if you dare create that dish, all of our customers will die of food poisoning."

He rubs his forehead. "I was just kidding, why the hell would I even invent such a thing?" He looked at the bedroom with the door closed. "Is Yiwon ssi up already?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "I haven't heard any noises, so I don't think that she is awake and plus she can sleep all she wants, she doesn't need to work yet."

"Isn't she here for a week already? She would have adjusted pretty well here, she should be feeling better and her condition would improve as well."
I scooped the rest of the eggs into my plate. "Do you want her to work with us? I feel like she is ready to work and she should get a job because she is an adult already and it would be hard to provide her with her needs given my condition."

I am not trying to make life hard for her but it is the reality, I would pay for all of her expenses and make sure that she lives comfortably with no worries but I don't have the money to do that, I am struggling with life myself and it would be hard to provide for another person. Although Kihyun offered to help me take care of Yiwon since he is the owner of this place and he agreed to this when I told him about her, I had politely declined because this matter doesn't involve him at all, he is just thinking to offer her a place to stay and I am the one who is responsible for her well-being.

"If she wants to, she is welcome to do it as long as she works hard for it. You want to ask her when she comes out of her room later?" I nodded as I continued to eat my food and soon there were footsteps slowly walking towards us and she sat down next to me. "Oh, you're up early today! Have some breakfast by the beloved Chae Hyungwon."

I just hate when he tries to impress other people by treating me like some maid that cooks for him, well I am kind of like his maid because I do all of his chores for him and he only sits around and waits. "What would you like to eat?" I asked her as I noticed that there was sweat glistening on her forehead but I say nothing about it, it appears that she had one of her nightmares again.

She has been having nightmares almost every single day ever since she started staying here a week ago and she has been trying to hide it and I know about it, I have seen her getting out of her room after midnight just standing at the balcony, her long hair flowing as the wind blows but she is sad, and she knows how to hide it really well.

"I don't know, maybe like what you are having, I don't really have a preference for breakfast." I stood up, taking the frying pan with me. "Thank you."

I took 2 eggs out from the egg crate and I cracked them in the frying pan as it sizzles and it does it's magic about turning raw food into delicious and mouth-watering food, it was done in a few minutes and I switched off the stove, scooping the eggs on a plate and then I gave it to her.

"Thanks..." I gave her a fork and a knife. "You're the best, Hyungwon ssi!"

I smiled, slightly happy at the compliment that she gives me since I don't really get any compliments anywhere else. "You're welcome." I took my seat and I picked up from where I last ate. "What are you going to do today?"

She takes out the fork out of her mouth and she holds it up in the air. "Maybe watch some television shows or read a book? I don't know what to do these days."

Then it would be alright for her to work to kill time and to earn money for her own keep right? "Yiwon ssi, would you be interested to work with us? I have a waitressing position open and I have been trying to find a suitable person for a very long time, and now that you don't have a job, I think that you can be that person that I have been looking for."

She didn't reply for a long time but instead looked at me for more clues to what Kihyun is talking about, I thought that he was clear enough in conveying what he is going to say. "He is asking if you want to work at his restaurant and you are going to serve food."

"Are you working there as well?" I nodded and she beamed up. "Then I'll work there too so that I can see you every single day, being at home has been so miserable for me."

"Sorry, Yiwon ssi that we decided to
keep you at home for one entire week so that you could rest as much as you can because you have been unconscious for so long and going out to work immediately would tire you out and you will not be able to handle it."

But she really needed the time to recuperate and she is still recovering from the loss of her memories, she wouldn't be able to work properly under those conditions and if she works in the same place as me, I am able to take care of her and keep a lookout for her at all times. Besides the restaurant is only a walking distance from here, she will be able to make her way home if I am not there to go home with her.

"It's okay, I don't mind because I will be working with my babe." She grabbed onto my arm and leaned on my shoulders, she definitely still thinks that I am her boyfriend and it is going to be like this for a while. And my heart is beating hard even though I am not supposed to be feeling like this. She doesn't love you, she loves someone else that you don't even know...
